IOS 8.3 runs fine on my 5s 👍

because i think all singaporean telcos have island-wide LTE. only <10% of the time fall back to 3G. afaik they shut down their 2g network already thats why no 2g option. i may be wrong though.

After updated to iOS 8.3 my ip6 battery drains faster than before

Try monitoring after one or two more charges. Initial drain is expected since you're playing more with the phone to experiment with the new features/OS.

I heard Siri sounds extra sexy on the 3GS as well. =P


10% is a bit optimistic, but yeah, decent 4G/LTE coverage overall. The only time I see the thing switch back to 3G is near the Woodlands customs on the way back to Johor, lol.

I think there still are 2G networks active - possibly for old phones and commercial/industrial communications equipment, but none of those devices (I assume) handle cellular internet data.

How is it that all skin colors appear orange to me at default?
For example I see you guys posting the thumbs up all in orangish color. So frickin ugly. Hate the new emojis.

I didn't bother to experience the new features. When I leave my phone overnight the battery level just dropped more than the previous iOS (my friend also comment about this). Hope Apple will fix this after he next update.

Mine drop faster than in 8.2.

Mine's about the same. Can go to sleep with 100% and wake up 8hrs later with 99% - 100% (iPhone 6) if I don't get many messages, email notifications or big app updates/downloads in the background.

Note that some of your apps might need to be updated or they might keep crashing and constantly refresh themselves in the background (leading to increased battery drain). Also, some big iOS updates that involve a lot of fixes/changes (like this 8.3), usually require the operating system to take some cycles in order to reload/re-cache/re-whatever all app settings and location related stuff, which also takes a slight toll on battery life. You can't really tell if there's a difference until you've done about 3 - 4 charge cycles.

or do you mean no matter what emoji we showed, u saw only orange skin color?

Same. Can't seem to find an option to change it to another colour. Probably would just need to get used to it.

I can only select different colours when I'm typing the emojis. If I'm on the receiving end I only see orange. Still looking for the option of other colours.

Like what jr said above. U try see other people punya post. You'll notice that the emoji color is dam pelik (aka fugly).

I have a feeling it may be region specific. For example, those in western countries may see a white emoji whereas African countries will see a black emoji? Idk man.

no its because that damn fugly yellow emoji is typed by people who haven't updated to 8.3 (and so they cannot choose skin color)
