QUOTE(wuszhtag @ Apr 9 2015, 09:21 PM) 8.3 problem so far that i have found out - touch ID not being asked in AppStore. Try this; http://www.imore.com/touch-id-not-working-...os-83-heres-fixAlso, for those of you that lost the "Today Summary" (the one that gives weather, alarm, calender events, etc) widget - go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and switch Weather from Always to Never, and then back to Always again. Then launch the Compass app and calibrate it. Then launch the stock iOS weather app (make sure both Wifi and Cellular are on). After it displays the weather for your location properly, exit the app, but don't flick it away from the task-switcher pane. Then, pull down the Notification drawer. If all goes well, your Today Summary should be back with the weather info. Yeah, I know it all seems like some weird bomoh-shaman method, but it worked for me. Edit: Apple services seem to be having issues again. For me (US iTunes/AppleID account), I sometimes cant load the App Store main page, although search still works fine. Same for Music, Movies and Books. It seems everytime Apple releases some iOS update, we'll get erratic behaviour from Apple online stores and possibly iCloud as well. Grrr.... I'm really hope that Family Sharing features will allow us to share the iCloud Storage Subscription. Because I underutilise the 20GB iCloud subscription storage. Always got 10GB space left. Hahah.

QUOTE(cappuccino vs latte @ Apr 10 2015, 04:50 PM) That is the commendable part of iOS compared to other ecosystem. A long lasting relationship... Better than most other mobile ecosystems, but I wouldn't call 3 years commendable. I have Debian running on a 13yr old Pentium, still able to browse most modern websites, gets security updates and can even play 720p video (1080p makes it drop a few frames and spins up the fan though). That's what I would call commendable.

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Apr 5 2015, 11:56 PM) Hence i mentioned supposed Also subject to carrier, IIRC. It's not subject to carrier or phone model. It's subject to iOS version. I have iPhone 5 iOS 7 and iPhone 6+ iOS 8 both using uMobile. My iPhone 5 can switch between 3G and 2g Now with iOS 8.3 it can be switch as we please

LTE and 3G is the main culprit battery drain fast....

QUOTE(matkim @ Apr 11 2015, 11:24 PM) Mine ip6 show 5gb ip5 show 1gb Noticed the same thing after upgrading my mum's iPhone 5 (my old phone) earlier today. Strangely, only Settings > General > Usage shows iCloud Total Storage at 1.0 GB. If I tap on Manage Storage the little bar at the bottom still says "4.6 GB available of 5.0 GB on iCloud". QUOTE(idoblu @ Apr 11 2015, 08:44 AM) It's not subject to carrier or phone model. It's subject to iOS version. It's not subject to phone model, but there are differences in what's displayed depending on your carrier. For example, some carriers will display 4G instead of LTE, and some carriers will even give you both (like AT&T in the U.S., because their 4G is actually only 3.5G). On my Singapore telco, I don't even get the 2G option. This post has been edited by G-17: Apr 12 2015, 10:54 PM
