Woah, that's bad. Sometimes my ip5 will off suddenly, even there's a 6% battery left. I don't know why.

How to downgrade?
*
Phone shutdown at 6% battery sometime is normal with your background apps running.

Downgrade? haha too late bruh....

Hello all, would like to ask if anyone could guide me how I can save an "edited" photo via the Photo app to Windows?

Let's say a photo I do some crop, leveling. The actual file is not saved, so when I connect via USB to my Windows, the original file would appear instead.

This sounds more like an aging battery, not iOS problem. Battery starting to unable to hold full charges already. After all iphone 5 so long in the market already battery also wear and tear d

Re-post from iPhone 6/6+ thread:

I just experienced what appears to be a bug which I don't know how to describe when filing feedback to Apple.

Plugged my iPhone 6 to my in-car USB for charging and playback. Once I accessed the camera while music is playing, the music stopped. So I thought it could be safety feature of some kind.

Done with camera, hit Home button to quit, music still refuse to play. Hit play on my dash console, still wouldn't play. Fine...! Access music app, hit play again, it plays, then stopped and jumped to the beginning of the entire music library and shuffle from there...  shakehead.gif  shakehead.gif

iOS 8.1.2 is shitty indeed...  rclxub.gif  Never had that problem with my iPhone 4 running iOS 6...
*
Previously on IOS 7 I was able to listen to music and change tracks through my Car Music system which has 'IPod Control ". Now with IOS 8 it has problems reading tracks and sometimes when playing will not allow you to change tracks.... Just hangs !
I hope 8.2 will solve this.

i agree...since updating to 8.1.2, mine drops 10% every 5-10mins browsing while wifi or 3gs.
More worse if play apps, drops 20% less than 10mins in a low pixel game.

Don't you think you need to check the battery?
Especially for iPhone 5S

I compared two iPhone 5S, both freshly installed with iOS 8.1.2
One of them is the 6 months old, and the another is just 2 months old
My method.
1)Make sure both of them run out of battery, then start charging both of them with similar original cable and adapter with same power source.
2)After it turn on automically, I shut down both of them(Technically, they are still charging)
3)Charged both of them until fully charged to 100% (around 4-5 hours, trickle charging)
4)Both of them in airplane mode, in the same settings(brightness/lock/etc..)
5)Wait until both of them dead.

Apparently, the 2 months old iPhone 5S performed better, and last much longer.

So, for me, the iOS 8.1.2 is good, the difference of battery performance is not because OS, but because of battery.

After replace the battery, you can see the significance difference

After i touch down in KL, gonna get my batt replaced. Lets see how it goes.

btw, before i updated to 8.1.2, batt was doing fine. After update it overnight, everyday batt drains out quite fast no matter what apps i open.
have done the basic steps in keeping batt full or minimal, it doesnt works, still same - batt low.

My iPhone 5 & 5S battery life is fine. No problems with 8.1.2. In fact, I think it is better.
