QUOTE(ZeroSOFInfinity @ Jun 2 2014, 02:50 PM) Higher tension - more effort in smashes and drives, but better control. Beginner and intermediate players should start at 24lbs or lower. i found myself better with lower tension. its easy to control the dropshot. where high tension, u can smash with higher power. Dropshot is harder with high tension bcoz the shuttle doesnt bounce that easily compared to lower tension

QUOTE(ZeroSOFInfinity @ Jun 2 2014, 02:58 PM) What racket do you use? Because if you put high tension and play with a stiff racket, it takes much more effort to smash. But I do well with dropshots and drives when my tension is 26lbs. yes. it takes more energy to smash with higher tension. for me, lower tension racket is better for dropshot. if opponent smash in a nice direction, u just need to put ur racket at good angel so it will bounce nicely back to them. U cannot do so with high tension racket, u have to hit it.
