QUOTE(nck_ck @ Nov 7 2006, 11:29 AM) Since Terry was red carded, so he's not gonna play in this weekend's game, who'll take his place against Watford? Boulahrouz ke? That guy's natural position is CB right? Terry will serve his suspension against Aston Villa (Carling Cup)so he is available against Watford. |

QUOTE(affinity_07 @ Nov 14 2006, 03:56 PM) Nice work alien ... From what I see so far, Henry hasnt really perform up to the YFF manager's expectations. Whenever u are expecting him to score a few goals past their opponent GK, he will probably juz get a few SOTs/CW/SC/assist.How'd u fancy Henry for the next fixture against Barcodes? He's not a season keeper anymore but whever I close my eyes I can imgine Henry banging 4 goals past Harper/Given For me, I will probably go for a more balanced team without him. Reasons: 1. His coming few fixtures not really my cup of tea [after vs NEW: @BOL, @FUL, vs TOT, @CHE, that's 3 consecutive London derby after visiting Reebok] 2. From my YFF history, I juz dun seems to have the luck in picking Henry in the correct week. So, better save my 2x units for someone else. QUOTE(affinity_07 @ Nov 14 2006, 05:50 PM) Ha ha ... knew you'd be on the safe side Well, it doesnt really matter whether I play it safe or take some gambles coz my YFF form so far is like rollercoaster ride where 1 week I can get a >100pts but out of nowhere pops out a few weeks with <70pts I guess RVP is a better option huh ?? (If he plays that is ...) U still sticking with Van Der Sar? He does make yr team a lil unbalanced, ther are few keepers that you can take to still score good nowadays since keepers price fluctuate the MOST IMHO. Cudicini is still cheap actually ... RVP? He might be cheap but he is not really consistent (and card threat too) and he might not start with Adebayor back in the team. Yup. I only picked 1 GK (VDS) so far this season |

QUOTE(Jedi @ Nov 14 2006, 08:26 PM) Nvm since I got him 2.46 units cheaper than current price QUOTE(affinity_07 @ Nov 14 2006, 11:01 PM) Playing safe huh?? Nevermind if u prefer it THAT way Sigh, no choice but have to play it safe since my luck in picking the "right" players is "having vacation" somewhere in the universe and not with me so far I still think that ARS strikers are the way to go this week Arsenal do has a good match up but will Arsenal (once again) struggle if Newcastle employ a 5 man midfield? QUOTE(Jedi @ Nov 14 2006, 11:04 PM) But Adebayor is less card threat than RVP. With Butt, Carr & Parker around (if they play), RVP could be easily wind up and end up getting silly booking |

78.00pts with Kilbane to play 2nite. Did considered the Barton (19.00pts) & Corradi (28.00pts) combo but since dun dare to risk it (by picking the card threat Corradi) so sticked with Drogba (6.50pts) & Fabregas (5.50pts) combo

QUOTE(Jedi @ Nov 19 2006, 02:21 PM) Sigh.. shud had trusted my instinct and swap out Drogba coz I kept having a feeling b4 lockdown that I will get screw up by him and indeed I m right Ballack? I get rid of him straight away after he gave me -5.50 last week even though I bought him @4+ QUOTE(nck_ck @ Nov 19 2006, 02:22 PM) Damn it, was tempted to buy Dyer before the game cause he was soooo cheap, but then again they were against Arsenal, so went and got Flamini....score me 1 point nia No one (except for Sky Sports who named Dyer as "Player To Watch" in their Ars v New preview Plus we will never know how long he can play on the pitch knowing that his injury records if stack 2gether might be thicker than yellow pages I also picked Flamini but I bought him pre-update (@2+) so returning 1.00 isn't that bad I guess This post has been edited by alien2003: Nov 19 2006, 02:47 PM |

QUOTE(Acey @ Nov 19 2006, 05:59 PM) U could be right about Lennon not playing QUOTE Tottenham's Aaron Lennon has a knee injury and is unlikely to feature while Jermaine Jenas (calf) is ruled out. Pascal Chimbonda, Calum Davenport, Anthony Gardner and Paul Stalteri are major doubts while Teemu Tainio is back in training but may not make the bench. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/e...rem/6138980.stm QUOTE TEAM NEWS 17/11/2006 15:06:16 Jermaine Jenas is out and Aaron Lennon a big doubt for Sunday's clash against Blackburn Rovers in the Premiership at Ewood Park. Martin Jol expects midfielder JJ to be out for another 10 days with the calf injury that he sustained at Reading last weekend and ruled him out of the England squad this week. Aaron was also withdrawn from the England squad with a knee problem and Martin added that he was 'unlikely' to figure on Sunday. Pascal Chimbonda, Anthony Gardner, Paul Stalteri (all knee) and Calum Davenport (groin) remain out. The good news sees Teemu Tainio back in full training following hernia surgery and, according to Martin, back in consideration. "Pascal Chimbonda is still out, he's still feeling his injury and is unlikely to feature," reported Martin at Friday's media briefing. "Jermaine Jenas has a calf problem, couldn't play for England and will be out for probably the next 10 days and Aaron Lennon is progressing well but unlikely to be involved on Sunday with his knee problem. "Calum Davenport is back in training but not 100 per cent yet, Anthony Gardner is improving but won't be back for at least another two weeks and Paul Stalteri has started running again but will still be out for another couple of weeks. "Teemu Tainio is back in full training and I'll make the full decision on the squad tomorrow." http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/artic...news171106.html |
