i am new to mac... on maverick.. so what's the step before going for Yosemite? how to backup things like we did on iphone? is it the same? or just move to external HDD? o.O any guide? XD

1. manually move ur files to external DVD, or upload to some cloud service.

2. clone ur current drive (use SuperDrive or Carbon Copy Cloner app) to a external hard drive. this creates a bootable copy of ur current drive. meaning, u can take this external drive, connect to another mac, boot from the external and it's exactly as how u left it.

3. backup using Time Machine to an external hard drive. this is not a bootable copy, but handy for you to 'go back in time' to retrieve deleted / damaged files n so on.

hi guys, is iPhone app store paid app = mac paid app? like i bought an app like real racing 2 in iPhone ...does it come free in mac too? or different store?

my macbook air cannot send sms =.= when i switch on the message forwarding.. my macbook doesn't appear the 6 digit code... anyone facing this issue ?
