i am new in photography i using NIKON DSLR. recently i get to know that a website featuring and supporting models and talents by features their work on their website cover page. have you hear about a website and apps name LEXUSMODELING.COM ? i joined them as my girlfriend told me about the site that they are looking for pro photographer to be their next cover page feature talent. they looking for talent like photographer, hairstylist, singer, videographer... Its sound good for me, but i have very less portfolio and lot of my portfolio is just so so only... so i need help in increasing my artwork. I like to shooting closeup, model, landscape..... pls help.....

avoid random group outing shooting babes, usually newbie group where newbie shoot with newbie organized by newbie and end up photos usually turn up with bewbies only but quality all lousy.

newbie group outing, the best you can learn is from people of the same level and in the end combined it's just barely progressing. it worse when the information passed around is inaccurate or incorrect.

Just a 2 cent from fellow newbie, learn how to control, manipulate and utilize the lighting. See the pros works and try to understand how they light. Lighting is everything in photography. Also gain a strong art fundemental, it will help a lot in composition. Great example of this is keda z. He start as a fine art artist before venture into photography.
