fedex site status this morning 11am, On FedEx vehicle for delivery
i waited until 4.30pm and called their toll free number. customer service said will be delivered before 5pm.

no one called and inform about delivery.

I don't think they are creating hype. Their shipping company simply couldn't match the demand.

The guy who sent the unit to me at 8pm (fedex), he said they have to work OT just to deliver the phones to customers.

Give them a chance to sort out the logistic issue...

going through the middle man will not work. imagine xiaomi mi3 price @ RM1200.. will you buy?
thankyou

maxis and digi, logistic wise... much easier... they buy in bulk... 10000 units in 1 shipment... no prob for that...

infact i believe there's no shortage of mi3... but how to handle logistic is the main point...

if they can do this with digi and maxis , why not do it with the normal consumers?

Think it this way... 10000 units of phones, 1 address... 1 package (all-in-1)... easy to deliver...

10000 units of phones, 10000 addresses, 10000 packaging... don't think can deliver on time..

bottleneck @ UPS/Fedex... not Xiaomi... I believe Xiaomi and UPS/Fedex came to an agreement of 5000 units per week...
