You're supposed to take it to get rid of the symptoms, not to prevent them.

Zyrtec (cetirizine hydrochloride) is an antihistamine that treats symptoms, such as itching, runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing from hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and other allergies, such as allergies to molds and dust mites. It is available in generic form. Common side effects include: drowsiness, fatigue, dizziness, and dry mouth. In children, stomach pain and vomiting may occur.

Second-gen H1-receptor antagonist; usually dry mouth.

Sympathomimetic; trouble sleeping especially pseudoepehdrine.

If you're taking long-term perhaps you could try generic ones like allerpid or carinox, it's cheaper™

How long term is long term? Daily?

When I go diving, I pop clarinase like sweets like that. So far no side effect kua. Cannot take before sleep cause cannot sleep if take.

If you got allergy symptoms, then maybe check with doctor to see if got other types of antihistamine for long term consumption or not.

there got two reasons why hidung hingus.

1 because of flu virus

another 1 because your nose allergic to dust

clarinase is to reduce your nose allergic to dust thus can reduce your hingus

so take note on the reason why you have your hingus first.

on the long term effect, need to check with the doctor

It takes quite a long time to take an effect (the good one) probably around two weeks or so. Just keep taking it everyday, don't worry about side effects because you might not getting any of them.
