For JVC and Sony, I encounter it choose CD to play. Some CD-R or dics format can't be read. I not sure on the model. Hope they resolve the issue on new model. cool.gif

The difference between a 1-bit and 24-bit is the resolution of the music, all have it's own characteristics, there's also 18-bit and 20-bit players. But having more "bits" doesn't necessarily means better sound. smile.gif

I would say that the Panasonic is a pretty good entry-level HU. smile.gif

Agree.

Depend on personal needs I would say. If burn CD alot better choose the right HU to reduce headache. What the use of a good system that can't play your favorite CD.

IMO, if ur purpose meant for iPod, better get those HU design for iPod, rather than those HU need additional "converter" to iPod, at least better + smooth controlibility from HU to iPod. biggrin.gif

AUX input is good for any 3.5mm Jack input device.

sorry ah... didnt notice there was a budget stated there... i thought is HU with direct AUX input only...

if looking for direct AUX in on the HU itself no need other adaptor or connector etc... then i would suggest dun look at pioneer.. cuz they will need those adaptor and they cost a lot... get others like sony or JVC... but i prefer JVC cuz they last longer than sony(based on many of my friends experience, sony does not last long at all...)...

cheers....
