Hey guys... Need recommendations on amp and woofer to be installed into my Gen2 when the car comes back from the workshop...
As part of "Pnase 1", i removed the built-in Blaupunkt radio and replaced it with an OEM brand that comes with MP3 playability and also has a USB port (finally i can play my iPod directly from radio!).... The sound is much better but its not "perfect" until the amp and woofer are installed... Both will be put together as part of "Phase 2"...

Hmmm, each below RM500 should be a better bet actually... Anyway i don't plan to get both at the same time, but which one should i get first? The amp or woofer?

Getting Started

Hmm, then better plan for which direction u are going. (SQ/SPL)
Amp, I suggest set higher, get a more quality amp. At range around RM500, not much choices. For my personal experince Prokick is fair. I been using it like 3 year it still blazing great. Samething goes to woofer, not bad and reasonable price I feel.

wait a second, do u have a set of front speakers? I mean not the original gen-2 speakers.
if not, i advice u to forget about the sub and amp. get a set of component speakers and amp for ur front 1st. i tell u this because my fren has a sub and amp in his gen2 also, but with original gen2 mids. u can hear anything. just bass and bass and low output.
