now it make sense, 1gb of ram

This is not a music event. Apple never introduce iPod on WWDC in the past.
WWDC stands for Worldwide Developer Conference, get what it means? Its more on Mac OS X.

If you bought the a Mac few weeks (2-3weeks) before the OS release, you might get a free upgrade. But, in your case, you wont. Because Leopard wont release in another 3 months time.

disappointed, only mac pro announced. core 2 duo? win machines are already coming out with them...no new ipod? that's bad, zune is coming...well, leopard is nice, but still the same old finder, which imho needs a re-design. come on apple, buckle up or else you will be going down soon. you've built yourself well these past 1-2 years, don't let it down. sad....

10.5 is just an update for 10.4 so it make sense not to change every single little thing. Remember it's an update. Not a brand new version leap. maybe we all get confused by windows... you see, it's just a minor version update, and there's so much new feature. Did u get that on other OS? hahaha....

have to wait for OS XI for something totally new.

well, not wrong to ask..companies like dell and all are very frequently updating their product line, i mean also with better configurations. after all, this will give their competitors a run for money. products getting replaced fast, well that is technology, everyone complaints about it, but we can't do anything right, technology is always improving cry.gif these past few years, many ppl are switching camps to a mac (me incl.) and they should continuously improve themselves.

cheers...btw, wei, u still with your cool blue PB?

IMHO, I do happy with Leopard, but not surprised.. First thing is, I have dream of something like Time Machine since 10.3 because WinXP have their System Restore funtions and it works pretty well(I know it's different thing but the concept is still same - undo the system to the state that you want before) and second thing is Space, I have think of it since I start to compare Linux Redhat 9 with OS X (Yep, once again it's different but the concept is still same - the desktop can be divide into few parts) That's few thing that I want to comment on Leopard. But really, those two funtions is really god damn great applications from Apple! For the other application such as Mail, iChat, Dashboard, Sportlight and Core Animation - it's good to have all those upgrades and I'm happy with it - but not totally happy..

SJ said they still save the top secret from us so I really hope the 'top secret' is really really 'top secret' that will satisfy and make people who don't have much money like me totally happy: First, feel happy to spend money on the OS that upgraded every year and second, To leave Vista and Linux a miles step ahead. And I believe this will happen with Leopard. Because windows is only 'photocopier' smile.gif

Actually Apple do listen to their loyal customers.. since there have been many request from us to get new finder so I hope it's in the 'top secret' things (although I could not imagine how the new finder will looks like because I'm still happy with current finder, maybe tabbed finder?) together with other surprise new funtions and applications.. Maybe themes? smile.gif Apple loves surprise, right people?

There's new Xserve and Mac Pro. The new Mac Pro is totally awesome! fast and very low prices too.. I start to think wether to pick MBP or the new MP tongue.gif

I am a loyal Mac user and will keep on support Mac, as long as I'm happy with it smile.gif

Cheers.
