Those who been to Hua Hin, could probably share some experience and what should do there? And any Hua Hin accomodation to recommend?
*
I recently came back from 3D2N Hua Hin trip ... all by free N easy.
Here is my simple itinerary ...

Day 1
- Took the A1 Bus from Don Mueang to Mo Chit BTS
- Take Mo Chit BTS and stop at Victory Monument BTS.
- Go down and walk to near roundabout, will see some minivan and people shouting Hua Hin.
- Take the minivan (will move after full) and tell them Hua Hin stop.
- Stay near night market (either Cicada or Chatchai/Chatsila)
- I stayed at Tanawit Resort & Spa.
- Walking distance to night market

Day 2
- Take tuk-tuk/Songtaews to go around Santorini Park/Swiss Sheep Farm.
- Take the return way either by passing minivan or taxi to any night market.

Day 3
- Went to Hua Hin beach (walking distance of 800m).
- Went to Railway Station (also walking distance from my hotel).
- Take minivan back to Bangkok & BTS/taxi to airport.

If you search Top 10 Hua Hin attraction, some are not cover in my trip due to my interest are more into Santorini & Sheep Farm. The rest are just compliment due to my long stay. It can be day trip by hiring one-day taxi.

Hope this info help me in planning.

Thanks for your advice. Do we need to rent car to travel around Hua Hin or can be easily reach by TukTuk?

Planned to cover Bangkok as well, do 2D1N in HuaHin the remaining 3D in Bangkok enough?
*
not required ... if you know the base charge for tuk-tuk/taxi/Songthaew, it's actually more convenient to hop around...mini van/tuk-tuk/taxi are all around.

Else, if u come in group of 4 persons from bangkok, rent-a-car can be an option OR book a taxi for ONE day tour in Hua Hin.

2D1N is enough actually to cover key attraction in Hua Hin, as for Bangkok, depends which area u focus on (Pratunam/Chatuchak/Siam/Silom/Victory Monument/Chinatown). Some place take you whole day also kenot finish. Hahaha.

To save time, better stay strategic place near BTS to hop around these places.
