Just share my experience, you can go to KLCc send in your application in Maybank card center.

My case is they approve it within 3 working days. You only can collect the card 2 working days after approval.

Maybe I am poor and never use Maybank card, the credit limit they gave me is not enough to cover the remaining the downpayment. In order to increase credit limit, you need to use the card for one year.

So finally I have decided to cancel off the card on the same day i collect it. The card given is AMEX/Visa platinum card... 

Not sure if EW allow combine credit card and cheque for settling the downpaymeny, maybe someone can ask and confirm..
