Out of curiosity, why do planes cover their cockpits like this when on static display. Is it just to protect from heat or something else? (Along the lines of satelite imagery from potential enemies)

Hee..Sblom ni xpnah amek port pon tp sambil browse gambar cik su yg dirindui pelik plak. Russian knights pon tutup bila atas tarmac. Power sgt ke satelite sampai bole nampak dlm cockpit tu.
Takkan su-27 russian knights tua bangka pon nak cover..haha

Ohh and by the way, these video of the russians su-35 and su-30sm really shows up close those amazing thrust vectoring nozzles in action..amazing!

What a beautiful picture that is. Im quite disappointed by the lack of photos coming out from cope taufan so far. Takkan la the raptors are stealth to dslr cameras also?

Whoaaa spanking new su-27!

I am getting increasingly sick and fighting the urge not to reply to idiots who keep harping on our assets being for merdeka display only and not sent to gaza. I realize my iq will reduce if i reply to them but gosh is it painful to read and see it being shared virally.

Some plane photos taken at the event today. Was touched by the spirit,atmosphere and emotions at Dataran.
Was hoping to see the MiGs bowing out probably for the last Merdeka but no signs of them...Great feeling to hear the MKM engines roaring again after quite some time..
