The "death from above" kind of gunships? That can instill some serious horror into the enemies (with proper tools such as infra-red, heat identification, bla bla bla)

Australia SAS Forces On Standby For Trip To Ukraine

If authorised to go, Australian, British and Dutch teams will help secure the crash site of MH17 in eastern Ukraine.

A detachment of Australian SAS has arrived in the UK within the past 24 hours, Sky News has learned.

If authorised, they will help secure the crash site of MH17 in eastern Ukraine along with international partners.

They are currently working with British and Dutch special forces - all three nations lost citizens in the disaster.

However, the Ministry of Defence has not confirmed whether British soldiers will be part of the deployment.

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said on Thursday he would send around 50 federal police officers to help form an unarmed multi-national protection force with the aim of providing safe passage to the scene for independent investigators.

In the background, the special forces soldiers would provide armed protection but only if needed.

The area, under the control of various pro-Russian separatist groups, remains highly volatile.

The soldiers will only be authorised to fire their weapons if shot at first.

A separate detachment of Special Forces troops will remain in Eindhoven, on an hour's notice to deploy in the event of a major incident.

hello new member here, just curious why malaysia dont want to enlarge pulau layang layang and make it a small town with a few hundred residents?? the reef seems big enough to fill with enough land and it will create a very nice lagoon where maybe navy ships can be based. seems like a good idea??

Dalam kejadian jam 11.40 pagi itu, dua mangsa meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian, manakala empat yang parah dihantar ke Hospital Duchess of Kent, di sini, untuk rawatan lanjut.

Dua anggota tentera yang maut ialah mohd Hanif Patahur Rahim, 31, dan Ahmad Fikri Mansor, 23.

Mereka bersama anggota yang cedera adalah dari Kem Batu 10 di Kuantan, Pahang yang bertugas di sini mengikut Kawasan Keselamatan Khas Pantai Timur Sabah (ESSCOM) mulai 15 Jun lalu hingga 15 September ini.

Difahamkan, ketika kejadian mereka dalam perjalanan pulang ke Kem Sri Kinabatangan selepas menjalankan rondaan keselamatan di sebuah resort di sini.

We could've build similar facility. In fact we can easily build a mockup city for urban warfare training since we have the land to do so. Why our military planners still stuck with battle in a kampung and palm oil plantation is anyone guess.
