hehe, guys and girls skin are different. so i assume the products effectiveness also will differ right?

frm wat cleo wrote, they recommend Simple or Follow Me (oily skin). but that is good for ladies. how bout guys?

so far, the best product i've used is Lancome. but it's very pricey. so i've switch to loreal. but the product for oily to very oily no longer in market. the new one not so effective in removing oil.

now i tried neutrogena but not tat good either. biore is not bad, but the fragrance is too strong.

any recommendation?

i think skin products doesn't differ between gender. Its just a marketing segmentation. So dont feel neglected to use so called 'female' segmented skin products bro.

bath soap is a big no-no because:

- it strips all the oil from your face, thus making the gland produce more oil. so your face got oilier.
- bath soap is alkaline, while the face pH value is acidic. important if you want to have healthy skin.

biore and clean & clear caused me to have breakouts.

based on personal experience i would suggest cetaphil. it's not available everywhere, you can only get it at guardian pharmacy, but it works. the downside to it is that at rm31 a tube, it's quite pricey.

now im using eversoft cleanser, cheap at rm13 and so far it works well (altho am thinking of switching) was using olay total effect cleanser a while back but was told that it contains alcohol that actually dries up skin and thus makes your skin much more oilier, which is true from experience.

some advice from my female friends that i (try to) follow: if you find a product that works for you, keep using it even if it's expensive. switching brand usually just wreaks havoc on your face.

haha, i used to use Lancome rm67. very expensive leh..usable lah back in those glory days...
but now, all so expensive laridi....have to use cheaper products laio..

personally i dont care if it's girl products or guys one...as long as it suite my face..but i prefer to ask guys opinion on this..because girls face sort of diff compare to guys one...

biore is good, but the smell too strong. i tried clean and clear also. but not tat gd to clear my oils. i tried nivea for men also, so-so again.

eversoft gd? olay totaly effect? erm, i dont dare to try because it was for dry-normal skin specialist mostly. so for us like have very oily skin, better avoid loh. cetaphil? issit gd? rm31 is ok to me compare to lancome. but effective boh?

i tried hazeline also. but got side effects. got rashes and pimples. so i stopped alridi. hehe btw, i think soap is abit dry lah..it's true it's effective to remove the oil, but bad for face.

any other gd recommendation?

Are you open to using medication instead? Accutane can be used to control oily skin also.

I used to have a serious oliy skin problem when I was in M'sia, which resulted in a lot of acne. What worked for me was Neutrogena face wash. Give it a go.

if you have lots of moolah, Obagi is the way. of course, Obagi is hardcore stuff, it peels your skin. but trust me, in 6 months, your skin would be "almost" flawless. If too flawless, especially guys, tak macho lar nanti.
