I should've worded better in my post. the stuffs I mentioned were the 32" 4K monitors, either latest gen QD-OLED or latest gen WOLED announced in CES early this year.
samsung does have its own 32" 4K QD-OLED (Odyssey G8) announced but hasn't released just yet.

nice but not many graphics card can utilize that DP2.1 capability ya?
I think only AMD Radeon AMD RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT supports it.

half correct consumer RDNA3 cards (except professional cards) only supports DP2.1 UHBR13.5 a.k.a. DP54, not enough to drive pure 4K240 10bpc without DSC (it can do 4K144 but so does HDMI 2.1)
best wait and hope for next gen cards supporting full DP2.1 UHBR20

what is the end result difference between dp2.1 against dsc? trying to justify that RM1k premium

besides the cable length limitation and gpu support of uhbr20, what else is slowing the adoption of uhbr20?

the 1k premium is cuz dell malaysia has a very competitive pricing against its competitors. conversion rate wise FO32U2P is the one closest to its USD1199 price tag.
many ppl say they can't notice a difference between DSC and non-DSC. official VESA tests indicate that it is visually lossless (and promoted as such), but there isnt any third party blind tests made by popular techtubers to verify said claim.
I think AW3225QF is the most reasonable one in our local market. both AW3225QF and FO32U2P are far better than the other two listed. if insist on a flat panel I do think FO32U2P is still a great buy with a price discount

GPU lor. NVIDIA hasn't adopted DP 2.1 yet, and AMD is using a "discounted" DP 2.1 for consumer lineup which couldn't hit 80Gbps. only their Radeon Pro GPU lineup got full UHBR20.
when NVIDIA starts adopting DP2.1 UHBR20, only by then these monitors will start using that

tl;dw: QD-OLED is showing signs of burn-in after using it for 3 months full productivity mode. the burn-in is caused by split-screen usage, with a semi visible line in the middle.
Looks like we still only have 1440p for 39-45inch 21:9 OLED monitors and most reviewers picked on the lower resolution. Hopefully we can get 4k next year

Hi guys. Just bought ROG Strix XG27ACS to complement my laptop. The problem is it only comes with dp cable. I'm planning to use usb c cable as the monitor can be connected through the usb c port on my laptop. I'm not sure which cable can support full 2K 180hz reso. Any helps and recommendations is appreciated. 🙏🙏🙏
