Hi guys, looking for new monitor

Purpose: Gaming + movie

Specs:
Resolution: 1920x1080 at least
Size: 25-29 inch
Ports: Preferably all three: VGA, DVI, HDMI
Refresh rates: 60Hz (is it enough?)
Response time: 5ms or lower

previously are using Dell U2312HM. looking for better then this quality.

Budget: +- around 2k if possible. current eye looking at U2715H or U2913 WM

Many thanks!
*
price list from ideal....
U2715H - RM2329
U2913WM - RM1865

if only these 2 to be consider, I vote for U2715H:
1. higher Pixel Pitch
2. Narrow Bezel
3. higher luminance
4. better color gamut
5. 1 more HDMI with MHL
6. 1 more USB port

only drawback is don't have VGA and DVI that you prefer to have (really still need it?)

nope. U2715H is good choice for now. as the successor U2717D specs are almost the same but just better design ID change and pay more, not worth for now.

Hi, hi. You selling Dell monitors? Warranty, how it goes, then? Go through you or direct with Dell Malaysia?

Yup. For warranty, it is direct with Dell Malaysia. Not through me and not through 3rd party IT company/store.
Pls check your PM.
Feel free to check out my feedback thread on my siggy too smile.gif

Good morning, is it possible to get a slim bezel 1920x1080p monitor in >30 inch size?
Not looking for anything in higher resolution due to graphic card limitation.

Hmm.. Not sure if there is a >30" monitor in the market with 1080p.
U can consider S2715H / SE2716H (curved) / P2714H..

Feel free to PM me for best price.

was looking something of considerable upgrade from my current monitor. 27" isn't significant enough for me.

Have anyone tried the Philips BDM4065UC 4K monitor? I see that for the 4K monitor, it is quite cheap.

But I think if there's a 30" monitor FHD, the quality will look bad since the ppi is low if watching at normal PC distance. If just for desktop and viewing photo's etc, i think even low end GPU can handle 2560P or 1440P. Only when it comes to gaming, the GPU will be a problem. Anyway, even if you have UHD monitor, you can set the game to play at 1080P. Or you can get 32" FHD TV.

Spec wise looks decent, just that the GTG is pretty slow at 8.5 ms and brightness is 300 cd/m2. How much is it?
