any coreldraw user here??

my problem is, after i complete the task in coreldraw, and i start to print using adobe pdf, as well as exporting to AI, it's take time to process and not responding...

any solution for this??

during the exporting process, did u check the resolutions box ?
if the resolutions is too high, the programme would goes "no response'.

where can i get that option?

and what about the adobe PDF?
any option for that?

i havnt exported to adobe pDF format before..
only did the export to AI and Adobe psd format only.

Because i was in the same situation as you... the whole notebook hang. Then i tried to use desktop , the same thing happens. Until i realized, there was a resolution box, for you to key in the resolutions figure. It was set to too high.

check again , all the boxes, figures, on the export table.
The more effects you used on the piece of work, the longer it would takes.

yes, .PSD has that option, but not for .AI

yah, very troublesome, coreldraw have this problem since long long time ago until now.. no improvement for that!!

what are the resolution you input?
will it reduce the image quality?
i perfer vector format..
i think .PSD should be in vector format

troublesome when we are converting it around...
i had to convert because the printer's side corel version was somewhat corrupted and they couldnt read the file.

with the resolutions set lower, i grimaced at the thoughts of the graphics quality being compromised... because i was doing big banner, measuring more than 70 inches...

didnt really see the end result though... as it was a rush job ( too much time spent on converting >_< ) but someone took a photograph and it looks okay... lucky... phew!

normally how you do the printing?

you export to adobe format then only print from there?

negative, i should use AI instead...

oh, when i say 'printing' i meant, sending them to the PRINTERS ( printing company - those who prints big banners, the final finished ready work ).

if i print it myself with my own small printing machine, i wont convert at all lo... the corel file in its maiden form are smaller file and clearer too.

but i see alot of PRINTERS company prefered AI format....

i willbring my .CDR for printing, do not know whether it will slow down their system or not..

just want to double confirm,
export fast or print direct fast...

if print direct to the printer is fast, then i will bring my file along for printing.

you have to check with them first, if they used corel or AI...
as i mentioned, most prefered AI.

If you can find those that accept corel, it would lessen the works for us, and the finished end result are what we wanted.

Because i realized, there was this fonts, kinda like brush script. It looks perfect on corel. But when i exported the format , the fonts breaks.
OR when i tries to convert the fonts into curves beforehand, the same thing happens also.
