Synology is one of the best NAS manufacturers. I'm considering to try their 10Gbps NAS to cater our home LAN requirements (a lot of 4K streaming, local backup, bluray encoding etc. through the LAN). Thank God we dont need Plex server running. Otherwise, i7-grade NAS (desktop) is a must to encode/re-encode the 4K videos on-the-fly.

If I am not mistaken Archer C9 does not support 10Gbps, making a 10Gbps NAS kinda pointless I think. You may want to consider instead a router capable of link aggregation for you NAS needs
