Like another forumer said, check back with you boss on verbal assignment that you may have missed out. Not possible they hire you to sit around. If really no assignment yet, check out the department's roadmap / annual plan. See where you fit in it, and start working on that area (research background or so). Or join us. No mp3, no external mail, no msn. Only stress
