Hi all housewifes, maids, technology lovers!!

Just wanted to share this supreme ironing system + dry cleaning which I just bought not long ago!

The brand of this supreme ironing excellence system is called LAURASTAR.

First, start of with my experience with the ironing thingy..

Well, previously all I have was a Philips Steam Iron which I bought around RM 1200++ which I thought that it could improvise my ironing and also don't have to send my expensive clothing to dry cleaning always. Okay at first is nice to use but later on I found that this steam doesn't do the job which what I expected. Honestly, I bought this because the demo guy show me that it could do multiple layers at once, and kindly impressed it. But later on once I got it.. I didn't realize that they are actually doing thin multiple layers (which steam iron can't do multiple THIN GARMENTS?? doh.gif stupid me). Once I have done using the steamer, my garments are quite damp, but it will dries off after 10 minutes by hanging it, and where the wrinkles are coming back again when it completely dries off! WORST PART IS END UP I STILL HAVE TO GO FOR DRY CLEANING mad.gif

Just few weeks back, I went to Harvey Norman, Midvalley and saw a super duper ironing system which I rarely seen. Well I don't have to explain much about WHY I'm BUYING such expensive iron, people may think I'm crazy. I bought just because it's really shows the results in front of my eyes with all the materials during the demo. Okay, I was so impressed. The moment I order it, after 3 days they deliver to my house and show me the whole demo once again.

And so.. my problem is solved, and I'm so happy, that's why I'm here to share with you guys, if not I could not express my excitement and satisfaction about this system.

First of all, I could do DRY CLEANING by just using a clean water instead of wasting my petrol cost + laundry cost for DRY CLEANING. And I just found that all my dry cleaning garments would not last very long as the materials will slowly fades away due to kind of chemicals they are using (PERCHLOROETHYLENE, correct me if I'm mistaken). So I did my own DRY CLEANING (WOW AMAZING icon_rolleyes.gif ). This is the best part I ever liked it, because once I got this, I lessly wash my expensive clothes, I just do dry cleaning hehe! thumbup.gif Being very honest, after I got this iron, I just realize that actually there's different kind of steam.. wet steam and dry steam. And after I made a comparison between my previous steam iron and laurastar, I could see that no wrinkles formed even after I finished iron with the laurastar (FINALLY I GOT WHAT I WANT).. because the STEAM is NOT WET AT ALL, totally like a SMOKE! but its 100% water..liquid.. h2o!!! .. could you imagine ironing + dry cleaning at the same time? drool.gif

Other than that, I found out that my ironing time is really short, imagine I iron 6 clothes in less than 15 mins (THANKS TO THE BLOWER & SUCTION FUNCTION) is hard to believe, but reality happens in me (LAURASTAR USER PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS TOO icon_rolleyes.gif ). My ironing time is effortless and short is because I do not have to adjust the temperature to iron all kind of garments..just imagine you iron from cotton to material like wool or silks! This makes me totally NO WORRIES to my expensive clothings.. because it 100% never spoil my clothes at all!

I just dont know what to say.. but really thanks to the inventor who invented such technology.. which make me less worry about my clothing get burned or some impossible which will never happen to me anymore! I think that I invested into a right place.. and upgraded myself into a better quality with this ironing system at my home. To all the iron lovers, I really advice you guys to get one of these, as I look through all the benefits, price is not a matter at all, in fact it really comes with a worthy and save a lot of electricity bills (usually use this iron less than 20 minutes for all clothings) and laundry cost! Think for long term benefits brows.gif

Here is some good information about this ironing system.

Laurastar is the pioneer and world leader in professional ironing systems for home use. Its all-in-one systems consist of an exclusive Laurastar active board, equipped with a blower and vacuum system to prevent unwanted creases, an integrated steam generator and a professional iron - another Laurastar exclusive feature. From now on, perfect results are accessible to everyone who loves beautiful clothes and wants them to stay beautiful.

Conclusion is.. I guess is worth to buy this.. And first time of a feeling which I don't even bother about the price which I'm investing on it.. such amazing things.

You can take a look in here www.laurastar.com or GOOGLE it. If you are interested, not sure if the promoter is still there, but you could drop by at Midvalley Harvey Norman to look at it, they had one there! I can provide you some contacts also..

Some videos I've seen...

This is how A SUPREME IRONING SYSTEM + DRY CLEANING WORKS!!!

Any ironing experience that you wanna share? please do!! icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for reading my long story... wink.gif

No offence to anyone that bought these kind of stuff but to me these belongs to the same group of over priced, over engineered equipment like those rainbow vacuum cleaners.

Sure its 10x better but it does the same thing as those normal ones, and you pay 10x more and actually need to do more work

Hmmm, I'm agree with you that it's overpriced thought.. even some of my relatives thinks I'm crazy LOL sweat.gif

But we have to look in this way, whether is it worth to buy? If you are saying that pay 10x more to do more work, I believe there's no one will go for it. Same goes to buying a smartphone / computers.. why do people buy expensive one where there's a better spec with cheaper prices? Just because of brand don't you think so? Honestly, this made my ironing more effortless and easier with no worries of getting BURNED.. and the most excitement part is where I do not have to sent for dry cleaning anymore.. believe or not up to you but you could ask around LAURASTAR users, I guess you would find a better answer because you can't depends on my words only right?

And other than that, you are buying a QUALITY to yourself, you are upgrading your life. Bringing a solution for yourself. I rather invest in this which could last me for 10 years instead of getting smartphone over and over again in 1-2 years time.

the one that cost 2k plus does not come with that special ironing board. The 2k+ unit is called a steam generator which to me is nothing but a steam iron
the thing special about laurastar imho is the ironing board itself.....

the one you are talking about I am sure still cost 5k plus or more.... sweat.gif

actually before this I did considering getting the 2K+ also.. its actually called LAURASTAR LIFT. That also can do dry cleaning because i'm sure you can't find any other irons of dry steam (160 degrees above and the steam is more finer ohmy.gif ).. I just did research that normal steam irons around 50-70 degrees after in room temperature. But end up getting this whole system because I love the blower and suction as well smile.gif So I guess the price of 2K+ is also due to its better quality and function.

My Laurastar ironing board (the non steam one) is still in its wrapper. Waiting for a reason to open and use. Currently using a Brabantia one.

Our Laurastar stuff are all splurges my dad spent on my mom so I can't really make a comment either way. I'm neutral about it.

Please do careful research before investing in one. I personally think it's overpriced and our family one has already broken down twice this year. Each time costing more than RM600 for repair and service. The company in Malaysia who does repairs is not very frank or helpful in this issue. My advise is to compare with other brands, I heard Philips came up with their own version.

I bought a Laura Lift+ (platinum), and currently with the 2nd replacement unit. Within a month of using this 2nd replacement unit, problems occur again!! Gosh... now only realized the same issues are reported by other owners.... Think twice before investing one. I am very much regretted!

Infomercial should be ban

Forumer should be given the right to review on products.

Info choice is consumer right and should not be influence by false infomercial.

b00n can you tell se7en to consider about this.

Msia consumer for such home living are easily been "played" with many products in the market. we need a source to clean up the mess here.
