Just wondering if anybody here has done a transplant to their Phantom 2 Vision (P2V) by replacing the stock camera and its so call gimbal with Gopro camera + IOSD mini + AV transmitter and receiver + monitor + 3 axis gimbal?

My camera has gone kaput. No FPV or live view. Only blank screen with the ability to record video, snap picture and tilt control via IOS / Android apps.

Checked with dealer and Dji and was told that the craft needs to be send to back to Hong Kong for repair and all in all might take 3 months to complete. Problem might be in the camera or the wifi extender.

I don't want to wait that long and planning to change the FPV system.
