Guys, I've been reading this thread for quite a bit & I'm just wondering: Does anyone provide wedding video services using drones? I saw one on FB recently, but it didn't say who took the shots.

Just wondering, since quite a few hobbyists here smile.gif

Hi guys, if possible let's try to sway away from money making topics.

The hobby is for fun - although no harm in making money along the way - but I'd say that's another story?  smile.gif

Got rumors that soon we need to register our drones in Malaysia under certain body.

As per DCA ruling, just make sure our drones fly no higher than 120m to ensure air traffic safety.

Also, be careful not to fly in restricted zones - eg. airports, military camps, prison, white house..  there's once on news that you may be sentenced to a life-prison (eh correk ah my english).

Although the laws in Malaysia thru media has been a little weird these days...  whistling.gif

AFAIK below 7kg no need to register, more than 7 need to apply license. but airports, army camps, police stations, white house, najibs house, istana is a big no no. we got one douche flew near the airport and got everyone in trouble. not sure about life sentence, but heard saman about 300k or something.
as long it you dont play around tall buildings, big crowds, etc people dont disturb you. in other words, main jauh2 lah.

DCA ruling is not more than 400 feet which roughly 120 meters...if for commercial use but your drone isnt more than 7 kg, well, this part i dont know. i heard need to get tell DCA where youre shooting, height etc. 14 days to process permission. something like thaatt laah

yeah im gonna sway from the business part here icon_rolleyes.gif heard that some people already trying to kill the market already.
