Cheap for my wallet means somewhere below rm500. Hoping for something that can fly at least 50-100 metres high while carrying a mobius cam. Something to start with to see if this hobby can last or not.
Dowan to straightaway splurge on live FPV + rm5k dji quads.

Eh you got a mini quad. Maiden already? Looks like you're all set bro. Don't fly too far lah, I oso lost orientation once it goes far. I tremble more if flying planes. Quad still ok hahaha. Multi coloured props oso helps. I use different color props in front and back to differentiate. Although when you FPV all those doesn't matter anymore.
What size is your quad? 250? Your props looks like 6"
Is yours set for fpv? I didnt know mobius cam can do fpv though.
I have had thoughts of buying from this guy before. But his stuff is a bit expensive and I am troubled thinking if it would pass our customs without issue.

Ok here goes.
As i mentioned before, i am interested to venture into these stuffs, but not willing to spend loads of cash into it yet, so i am going to start small and cheap. I have been to a toy shop and looked around those that costs between rm150-rm300, some were chaped like a parrot drone and some were shaped flat in a styrofoam case (they label it ufo)
So before i actually buy one to play with, i just want to find out and understand what these terms actually meant and how importsnt it is when choosing a drone/quad to play with.
1. Axis - some say 6 axis, some say 4 axis. What does it meant or do? The more the better?
2. Channel - some 4 channel, some 4.5 channel. What does it meant or do? The more the better?
3. The remote. - i can see 2 dials, the left dials only pushes forward and back, what does it do? Adjust the height of the flight, or getting the quad to fly forward or backwards? The dial on the right, what does it do?
Saw one drone for rm150 that comes with camera for video taking, while another ufo quad that costs rm300+ wothout camera and if i want one, can separately install for about rm200+. Well logic would tell me that the cheaper one would have a shitty camera installed hence the cheap price, but anyone has any idea hows the image quality looks like?

I have X8C. IMO, to really enjoy is to change the camera to better ones, like XiaoMi XiaoYi. I'm currently looking to change the camera & add FPV but the latter is not a priority right now.
BTW, I only have time to fly mine at night but it's really fun to fly at night.
When u change the cam from the original that came with the drone, what mod do you have to do to put in the correct mounting?

if u have around 1-2k then i would say built diy drone will be the best experience
Aku cheapskate, taknak belanja banyak2 Lagi pun tak banyak knowledge jugak nak buat diy ni. Just buy something ready to fly straight up, stay in the air for the camera to take video and picture saja. Bila dah puas, boleh jual
