I had my old ground station like this too before (on tripod). Until a friend gave me idea then I embedded everything inside this black box below.



Come to think of it, you can also do a mount so u can mount this on tripod. A much more cleaner built

Run using 3s 2200mah bro. I have 2 vrx embedded inside. One receive 5.8ghz channels and another on 0.9mhz to 1.3ghz range. I switch monitor channel if i were to switch receiver. But downside is damn bulky. If i were to rebuilt i just use one vrx only and maybe put lipo outside to save space. Box only holds the wires to keep it clean

since u are using 3s, will the video receiver get hot around 40 to 50 celcious ?

mine was that hot, not sure is normal or not.....

Depends on brand i think. But mine not hot at all. Its the digital switch type not using dipswitch

mine too no dip switch, but it built in diversity....

Wah can't remember aldy. Monitor around 200? vrx 5.8 150? vrx 1.2ghz another 150? box around 30? then added switch maybe 15? antenna 50? around that..

Now can buy around 400 monitor with built in dvr and vrx 5.8 i think

Not for money-making purpose. More for community projects & humanitarian causes; and also for my own personal interest in it.
