can add me to owners list, silver.

spent the morning getting adb to work to restore from old android phone. after installing drivers from http://s1.mi.com/images/new816/Driver.rar, the phone still not detected in adb.

found this fix to get the adb to detect the phone;

this is probably a general enquiry but since my MI3 is new & precious, i wanted to ask the sifus here.

am bringing my MI3 to USA next week. What do I do about the power voltage difference?? Do I need a transformer?

check the charger, if it has 110v-220v range, then you can use in the states, but you need an adaptor.

I tested with several chargers and xiaomi powerbanks.

I find that either the app measuring the charging not correct or Mi3 simply cant accept high current.

Using Mi3 stock charger, the app only register 700mA. Using Note2 2A charger, only 1.2A. As for the Xiaomi PB I just received which is rated at 2.1A, it also register 1.2A

Anyone got other monitoring app to recommend?

many misuderstood that using higher ampere charger, the charging will be faster. this is dead wrong.

the phone will draw current from the charger, and not the other way around. hence, by design the phone is just drawing 1.2A from the charger, irregardless of higher rating of the charger. even if the charger is rated 3A or 10A, it will still draw 1.2A 5v.

this is why charging the phone on higher rating charger will always be safe, as long as the voltage is correct.

I second this. mine already have scratches. it's tough to clean as well.

I think nillkin has 9H glass for this.
