They should base the availability on payment. It's retarded that people can "reserve" multiple copies and not end up paying until later when people with ready cash are trying but failing to get one.

That's pretty obvious. But it's also obvious that the system is flawed that people can hoard multiple orders or make them by mistake whereas other serious buyers can't even get a unit because those spammers/reservers are hoarding onto all the "available units" when they haven't even paid for them yet. Xiaomi should revamp the system so that the units are only accounted for and considered unavailable once payment has been made. It shouldn't even take 24 hours to make a payment which is why the current system is stupid. Whoever pays first, should get it first.

Yeah. That's also you see countless posts asking whether other people want to buy/pay for for another few units because they somehow managed to reserve multiple units by mistake without payment. All these people are hogging up units they don't even want or need and somehow the legitimate buyers can't even get a single unit because of how screwed up the system is.

Lel. I just saved a thousand ringgit. My Zenfone 4 arrives later today so I can actually play around with that before deciding whether to get an Mi3 tomorrow or wait for the Mi3S.

You check the website 10 hours after the sale was "supposed" to start and you expect it to be in stock, are you serious here? But you're in luck cuz the sale was postponed until tomorrow. It starts at 12pm. It ends in under half an hour from the starting time because stock will run out. Don't go online 10 hours later again expecting it to still be in stock.
