QUOTE(apache_utara @ May 25 2014, 05:10 PM) True.. Looks pretty but hard to navigate.. So just uninstalled 35mAH wouldn't make much of difference. So I just noticed in Battery Monitor Widget showing the battery capacity is just 3015mAh instead of the advertised 3050mAh. Weird » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Just like they advertise disk space, they normally round off to the nearest most "nicest" sounding number. |

QUOTE(deblyrie @ May 25 2014, 05:21 PM) I own one xiaomi piston 2.0, Xiaomi Mibox and Miwifi usb..now waiting my mikey n mi bluetooth speaker Is the Mibox like Apple TV? The channels are all chinese channels? Pirated I presume?I don't understand the use of Miwifi though? Is it to share laptop wifi? If to share wifi, there are apps that can just do so without the need for a separate device. This post has been edited by koonghx: May 25 2014, 05:28 PM |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ May 26 2014, 12:10 AM) Perhaps Xiaomi paid extra this time to satisfy buyers. I think they did much better than Samsung. At least we can see that a lot of people really received their items, although the available units are low, which is frustrating for many but keep in mind that this is their business strategy.I think Xiaomi will regret coming to Malaysia very soon. Soldout , rage in Fb. Scalpers, rage in Fb. Slower but within time range delivery, rage in Fb. Create a "demand", by limiting the supply, so that it would build up hype. Of course there would be people that will rage, but sometimes all publicity is good publicity whether it is rage or rave. I had said this before in the previous thread, this is very similar to a strategy that Google used. Gmail and Google+ are both marketed using this strategy. Both are invite-only at first, to create a demand, to build up hype and anticipation. People that are able and use it will praise and rave about it, causing people that are not yet using it to want to try it out and see what is so good about it. This is a double edged sword though. It worked extremely well for Gmail but can be said as failed for Google+. For Xiaomi's case, right now, they trying to build up hype for this phone. Understandably, Xiaomi is still not yet well known enough, when compared to other brands like Samsung, Apple, LG, that's why they are giving away those power banks for such a low price. RM36 IS the retail price for the power banks but if they don't set any limits on it, it wouldn't build up the hypes and news. Just my slightly long 2cents. |

QUOTE(NightFelix @ May 26 2014, 09:20 PM) That thing looks so enticing.. I can have it shipped inside a container with with my supplier items, but not sure about the SIRIM details and the warranty.. 4k 3d 49' android TV, almost too good to be true. There is a forumer doing group buy at RM2800 though... That extra RM800 is kinda deal break. Almost half the TV's price. |

QUOTE(sean6 @ May 27 2014, 03:24 PM) Do anybody notice that Mi3 screen bottom there brightness a bit dim? Is it normal or mine unit screen problem? You can try to see if there are any other Mi3 around you to compare with.Screen unevenness is quite common amongst smartphones, you can try to check with Xiaomi CS to ask for answers about it. If it is very serious like, light leaking out of the bezels, then they will definitely need to replace it for u. |

QUOTE(rifles @ May 27 2014, 09:48 PM) Hmm.. ive try mv player and asmedia player. problem still there, can play video but no sound.Already try with different setting in player. I suggest you try XBMC for Android.I use it on my ipad(jailbroken) all the time. The code base are the same for all platforms, windows, linux, raspberry pi, ios, android. Best option for streaming from your computer/NAS. You can even install PPS plugin on XBMC to stream movies |
