QUOTE(LNB1 @ May 25 2014, 12:42 PM) now not to spoil the excitement, let me post this very important issue, a quick check with Then the SIRIM sticker on the card is fake? Hahaha...KLIA KASTAM and SIRIM and what you know?? The Xiaomi MI-3 is NOT TYPE APPROVED to be imported into Malaysia, means it is going to be an ILLEGAL IMPORT and the KLIA Kastam can confisticate the phone if you don't have Import Permit from Sirim, ![]() |

QUOTE(loneboy62 @ May 25 2014, 01:12 PM) I compared Samsung Android and Mi3 Android, the input is not able to have different package set of input language in one which Samsung can, not sure why. For eg: English, Chinese and Japanese. Japanese is the other language pack, but Chinese English is in one pack. So They can co-exist, still finding a way to fix this. If you don't like Google keyboard not it's pin yin keyboard, time to try other keyboard. Go Keyboard seem to support quite a number of input via additional download. |

QUOTE(droidtrix @ May 25 2014, 01:34 PM) Yeah, some places can get quite fast.I tried in Sungai Buloh also 5-7 Mbps. But sadly, the speed is crawling for most of Kepong. This is captured in Jinjang Utara. Also slow in KIP. Area around my house also bad. 1-2mbps. I'm going to report SKMM soon. Tolerate it for too long. |

QUOTE(notoriousfiq @ May 25 2014, 02:24 PM) OMG, what a b!tch, applying a SP is such a b!tch! Took so long to apply the practice sheet, and got one dust left, give up. tomorrow maybe go to the service centre or something.. Urrgh.. After you wipe the screen clean, cellotape the whole screen. It will pick up small sand or dust that makes eyes can't see. Then only start. Don't forget to off all fans and even air-conditioning. |

Perhaps Xiaomi paid extra this time to satisfy buyers.
I think Xiaomi will regret coming to Malaysia very soon. Soldout , rage in Fb. Scalpers, rage in Fb. Slower but within time range delivery, rage in Fb. |

QUOTE(Cynox @ May 26 2014, 11:01 AM) i just mentioned it few pages back - i tried charging mi3 with my Samsung 2.0A charger, it is damn freaking hot. So better avoid it. Charging using computer USB 2.0 port now and it is just warm, much cooler than using 2.0A charger. Really? I have been charging for 2 days without any problem. Maybe tonite I try monitor a bit. Maybe because I had many fans in my room, I really cant feel that its that hot. In fact, it charges rather quickly. |

QUOTE(Cynox @ May 26 2014, 11:19 AM) no choice, can't risk spoiling the phone. I think many people here are too paranoid to notice the difference.Btw, you guys were saying not to put back the empty sim tray? Now i have my micro-SIM inside. Later will need to take it out before i pass it to my sister. So better leave the sim slot empty without the sim tray? Thanks. What makes the sim pin bend is the ADAPTER. ADAPTER Not the SIM TRAY. If SIM TRAY also damage the pin, then when we get the phone, and eject the SIM TRAY, it should have damage it already. Correct me if Im wrong. |

UPS called me just to arrange delivery tomorrow. In line with what the tracking tells. So you can't say they ain't on time. Unless they failed to deliver to my doorstep tomorrow.
