ToniV wanna ask
in v47.1 temasek or before that we can customize the back, home and recent keys eg: double tap home key to on the torch, long press back key to kill app etc however in v95 temasek these are ald removed. wonder if similar features are seen in archidroid or slimkat? thinking of migrating ald.. thanks |

QUOTE(faisal_smks03 @ Jun 11 2014, 12:41 AM) Thx, wanna avoid using the physical home button everytime wanna go back home screen. I usually do so by binding long press in the recent soft key as a substitute instead. QUOTE(boonseng @ Jun 11 2014, 12:52 AM) In v95 temasek had limit the options on what the keys can do individually. Last time in v47.1 it used to be able to bind apps/perform actions when pressing on either of those 3 buttons. Of course v47.1 allows customization on doing long press, short press, or double press for each of the keys. Now on v95 sudah limited. :-( |

QUOTE(ToniV @ Jun 11 2014, 07:07 AM) I remembered those features. And temasek had problem with that features. Slimkat has that feature. So does Archidroid. Just use xposed framework should do the trick. GravityBox and wanam have that feature if not mistaken. QUOTE(normeck @ Jun 11 2014, 09:29 AM) QUOTE(ToniV @ Jun 11 2014, 10:18 AM) ah many thanks. exactly what i needed.cheers |

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Jun 15 2014, 06:47 PM) nope.. i thought hover is only in PA for the moment being?QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jun 15 2014, 07:35 PM) Whats up guys, it's been such a long time since I last posted here temasek prolly got fed up with users komplening this feature missing that feature buggyBeen busy with my exams and whatnot. The last time I updated my ROM was with Temasek's v65 CM ROM haha. What happened to him already, anyone knows? His thread on xda seems to be stuck at v50. Also what's the hottest ROM now which everyone is using? well that's kinda expected since he just port in the features from 3-4 different roms or some says he's just being lazy for not offering change log well whatever it is because of his rojak features it made my phone kinda laggy, and decided to swtich to slim kat for temasek tered on xda it's ald been removed by temasek himself (due to above reasons) there's one by his fans, but no official posts, just some regular users updating/discussing whenever temasek releases a new ver. here's the link |

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Jun 16 2014, 11:51 PM) Currently on SlimKat weekly v5.9. Everything's smooth and running perfectly. did the same.. but i went up to 300. 245 is way too small for the poorly resolution sgs3 in today's standardsDownloaded the TexDroider DPI app from Play store to change the default DPI of 245 to 275 anyway how's your battery performance? mine one kinda striking 7%/hr with location services off maybe it's due to the boeffla kernel i flashed |

Alright, me currently on slimkat rom. Had a few days of battery drain with nlpcollectorwakelock
Found a "fix" for it. Go to apps manager > find google play services > under permission, click "modify" > scroll all the way down > turn off the "keep awake" option. Now i'm getting 5-7% per hour of battery drain with light usage (whatsapp, checking mails, fb etc) note that this "fix" doesn't compromise play stores regular updates or your location services. hope that helps |

QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Jun 24 2014, 09:41 AM) screen quality can say very little effect. yea most probably is the ram + processor as the major factoru give old2 screen but new hardware as quadcore MTK+1gb /2 gb ram. and less bloatware. no lag. btw, This post has been edited by calvin_kenni: Jun 24 2014, 12:13 PM |
