I went to L&G office to submit the Syabas form as well.

What surprises me is the building 8trium developed by L&G.

I simply can't link this building with the word "premium" because everything looks basic, normal to me.

The tiles outside L&G office has got this disturbing sound when you step on it. It gives me the feeling that the tiles going to pop anytime.

The building entrance is occupied by Court Mammoth and building reception counter is so small and cheap. Therefore there is no grand entrance statement at all.

The lift lobby looks is also very basic without any decoration and the lift is not properly lighted and it is very dim.

The car park build quality is definitely not tier-1 with lots of visible defects.

I can't find the auto-pay machine as there is no proper sign to lead me there.

Before you exit the building, if you forget to pay the car park ticket. You need to turn left into basement and pay your ticket. Although there is a full circulation round the building, the design gives me the impression that I have come to a dead end and needs to drive into the basement car park.

With the above, I definitely hope for the better in damansara foresta because I can't accept what i have seen in 8trium.

That's what you will get from L&G. They have already more or less sold it off as strata title offices and wash their hand clean.

Let's put it this way, if they screw up the 1st phase of Foresta, they gonna face doubt issues with the later 3 phases. I hope they are not that stupid.

It's more practical as well.

The old one is too short to be of any good use.

I actually prefer the showroom kitchen cabinet, looks a bit more classy with the glossy and brown colour surface, wider doors... the new one look bit "mate/dull" and not sure if the surface quality is good or not.. It will also give more flexibility to design your layout if the kitchen cabinet only built half the length.

With the "extended" cabinet, it is very hard to separate the kitchen with living/dining hall, or having a "close" kitchen.. need some extra efforts on the design. Furthermore, with the placement of the power switch and cabinet, it seems like you can only place your fringe at the right, which is so close to the living hall and walk way to bed room.

Is the kitchen wall tiles extended to top? cant see from the picture..

Finally, anyone manage to get some pic from inside? to show corridor, lift lobby, main lobby, facilities floor etc...

I can almost confirm that the kitchen tiles are full height.

From the photo, it is roughly 9 feet high. It makes no sense to leave the rest of say 2ft without tiles.

From the last photo from block A, it seems the end of corridor is covered up with windows? This is good to avoid water coming in during heavy downpour. Previously thought it will just be opened grills.

Hi,

Are you sure end of the corridor will be covered by windows? Can actually see from the picture? How about the corridor opening just next to the lift? Will be covered with window as well?
