Anybody know why the workers are filling cement into the road  going up of Damansara Foresta?

Given herewith the photo I have taken early of December. All blocks except block C seem to have completed. Block C seems to have left behind the highest floor and sky bar. However, the construction work has stopped since then and no progress for the month of December at all. I have an insider in the construction co, he informed that the developer has stopped making them progressive payment since 4 months ago.
And about 1 1/2 month ago, certain projects involved have also called to put in hold due to Mayland will be taking over the whole project.
Thr Mayland daigor is very famous in delaying payment and handling keys in all it's projects to all purchasers.
All the above do not give a good sign to the whole project. I am very worried if it can be delivered on time and if yes, do they compromise the work quality.

i'm kinda lost track, when is the supposed handover? if i remember correctly that's roughly 36 months from April 2012

D Foresta is not the only hillside development in the country, definitely not the first nor the last one.

The most hillside developments in the country are concentrated in Penang Island, especially the Paya Terubong, to Balik Pulau, from Bukit Gambir, Bukit Jambul till along Yap Chor Ee Road, Setia Pearl Island in the South, or in the North coastal area, such as Tangjong Bungah, Batu Feringgi, Teluk Bahang, Mount Erskine sides are all flooded with high rise hillside developments. Some of the developments are 30 years old low cost flats @ hillside and they are still standing strong despite they were built using technology back in 1970s. On your next trip to Penang, please make an island tour to these places to have a look.

We acknowledge the freedom of speech in this forum, however, we appreciate those who bash this project, please substantiate your point with constructive and professional justifications. By throwing 1 sentence like " dangerous project, will collaspe anytime" are unjustifiable, more on the personal feeling than facts. It doesn't do any good or contribute to new knowledge which could be learnt by other forumers here.

This is already the version 2 of Dsara Foresta, and the landslide issue have been debated > 100 times.  Don't u think we shall move on?

Please have a look at the building plan.

I don't think the previous construction photos is D Foresta condo.

It might be somewhere flat construction.

1) According to the building plan, the lifts is placed in the center. ( The photo shows the lifts is on the side )

2) The condo is face to face, no railing between it.

So, what do you all think?

My Standard Chartered bank start 25 mth need to pay full payment skim, That mean developer pay part of interest and the balance need to pay my self. Any one facing same issue ???

Is depend your offer letter,  I also inform by banker, if not I also don't know need to pay full payment from 25th month.
Maturity standard chareted islamic skim will effect.
Which  bank you using for Foresta ? ?

Can we as buyers start a petition to request the developer to reconsider safety and design of railing?

Does anyone knows details of the following issue?

Main Contractor: PYS Construction Sdn. Bhd.
- anyone heard of this contractor? Whether the workmanship of its previous projects are good?
- I heard Mayland Royal Regent has a lot of workmanship issue. Royal Regent happens to be constructed by PYS as well.

Sanitary Wear and Lift Brand
- I went to the sales gallery 3times and multiple times of call. None of them can provide the brand that they'll be providing.
- Lift plays a VERY IMPORTANT role that affects the workmanship of the whole condo, and thus the value of the property.
- I understand very well that Developer has absolute right to provide whatever brand they seem it, even the cheapest in costing terms. Still, we have the right to know.
- RM800K property, not something expensive, yet definitely not cheap at all.

So PYS was main con for block A&B and Lu Strong was main con for block C&D?

I felt like was provided some misleading info by sales person when i booked one unit there:

1) They claimed that those units higher than 25th floor will be having the view above the hill (forest) infront. However, i can't even see the top floor of the current in progress building behind the hill (Damansara Perdana) from PJ LDP (around One Utama area) view.

2) They claimed that the telecomunication tower (on the hill) is located near to the Block A, but it seems like right infront of Block B & C based on current building location.

Anyone can give comment on abovementioned issues? Correct me if i am wrong...
