First, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Some people like stainless steel, some people like brickwall plastered and paint, some people like it glass while others like it mild steel with quality paint.

And in terms of safety, also it seems to be related to "looks" as well.

Brickwall looks "safest"
steel looks "second safe"
Glass looks "not so safe"

Actually, as long as it is calculated, a thick glass can be stronger than a brickwall.

Railing can be improved...the color is so like school grills

I tend to differ based on personal preference.

There is nothing wrong if any part of our house or condo looks like school, hospital or even crematorium.

There are school, hospital or even crematorium that are decorated more beautiful than any of our house.

Is depend your offer letter,  I also inform by banker, if not I also don't know need to pay full payment from 25th month.
Maturity standard chareted islamic skim will effect.
Which  bank you using for Foresta ? ?
*
Things like that should not happen.

It is clear that everyone of us thinks that we do not have to service the loan until the handing over date.

Silent clauses have been inserted somewhere in between the process and we are caught unaware.

and in most of the cases when we want to read the Contract, I am always being told," This is a standard Contract, every bankers are ALMOST the same."

This is a wrong practice, and it is onus of our lawyer and banker to advise us properly especially when they aware of certain thing that we have expected but the Contract says otherwise.

QUOTE(dexk @ Jan 28 2015, 11:29 PM)
problem with full glass is that then the building would also need the window cleaning crane.
*
Now this is new to me.

You mean building maintenance system I believe.

You mean to say that the current building design does not need a building maintenance system but it is only required when it is full glass?

The logic?

Or are you saying that if the corridor is full glass, then the building maintenance system needs to additionally cover this area?

But since there is a roof top garden, there might not be any BMS.

How they intend to maintain the facade then?

Tell me more about the Type D kitchen cabinets. Are they in the same layout as the showroom unit?
*
Planning for your reno? There was earlier discussion previously about the idea to reno the kitchen area. No news after that.

Yeap, one of the forum-ers claimed to have a design layout for the Type D kitchen and said that he would share it here. Still waiting tongue.gif

Would like to know if the developer is giving Type D owners something else different from what was shown in the show units, which is quite useless honestly.
*
If it is like what fongozic has shown in post #620, it will be good to have. thumbup.gif

Phase 2 may delay.....

Ya. There is demand but might not be good enough for a viable development.

The 'artist impression' is one. Regardless what fine print you put there, the expectation is that it should look 95% like the 'artist impression'.
*
Ok. But that's not a promise. That's buyer expectation.

I will just ignore those naysayers and trouble makers.
At the end of the days,
1) Mayland purchasers  and investors all make good money from their investment in Mayland products purchases. Nobody complain loosing money. The ROI is among the highest in the market.
2) LNG whether pay promptly to their sub-con or not it is out of our control and it is in between the vendor and developer, none of our business.
3) each developers have their strategies on controlling their cash flow if to pay their suppliers promptly. The late payment could be due to the unsatisfactory works delivered. If u r shareholder or creditors  of LNG and not happy with their payments records, can always protest and question them in their AGM. No point complain in this thread, their customers of LNG will not help u to get the money back promptly.
4) if u are a "genuine" Foresta buyer and u r not happy with Foresta, I believe the developer is more than happy to buy back your unit at original price, we also have a few forumers express their interest to get a unit, if u willing to let go at original price, sure got takers and thereafter u can sleep well with less complain.

If this is true for Type D, I forsee having to replace the upper cabinets with full length ones right up to the ceiling.
*
That's is already is a very long kitchen cabinet. You must have lots of kitchen wares to store. Unless you are mixing the kitchen wares with other types of things.

No doubts storage cabinets are required along the dining and living hall to keep these two areas tidy.

Now most efforts are carried out on the interiors and public amenities.

The podium architectural works are done by one single contractor i suppose.

Glad that there is progress.
