I think kl folks have own favorite mall to go in their heart already.

Regardless how far the distance, they will still prefer hanging out there.

At least i am, even though cheras central more near to my staying area, yet i still prefer go midvalley.

Dont you think so?

I'm Cheras Lang and I prefer leisure mall 20 years ago until now. Therefore, I bought Ekocheras.

Undoubtly leisure mall is a ideal landmark for cheras kia.
viva mall, cheras central cant even able to fight against.

i not prefer leisure mall is because it is always jam.

The press said this Cheras Sentral mall very potential.

http://property.sinchew.com.my/node/2554

I recalled back in the early 90s, when Leisure Mall and Phoenix plaza were opened around the same time (within two weeks apart).
Initially both started well, with Phoenix plaza having more allocated stores.
Eventually, you know la the result.

Personally, I would hope to see Cheras Sentral mall doing well, as this proves Cheras area is still ONG.
Indirectly, it attracts investors to Ekomall.

I predict cheras sentral need wait while second mrt2 complete.

ekochras can straight take the effect of wang qi from leisure mall

The 2 stations are supposed to be integrated but looks like quite far on the map

Wow,

such a good thinking...
The crowd sure need walk through cheras sentral to get to the other side of the station to change line.

The wang qi will move around.

Sat and Sun all restaurant in CS full.
Main lift also full.

Starting to get more crowd. Give it a time of year.

if you compare ss2 mall, you will feel really scary.
I just been there few weeks ago during Sat night.

Oh yes, perennial, if I can recall correctly...
Back in mid-70s the Cheras jam was already there, from All St Church to Tmn Pertama roundabout then to Midah/Billion roundabout..

In the early 80s, the jam extended to Connaught and even further.
There came the ramp-road from Tmn Mutiara Barat to Midah. Toll paid but still jam all the way to Midah. Toll abolished.

Then there came East-West Link. Toll paid. Jam all the way to PJ. Toll abolished.
MRR2 built. Traffic not much improved. Jam from Pandan to Midah/Billion roundabout, until today

The jam was getting worse until Kajang.
In 1999, Grand Saga Highway was in operation. You know the story since.
No need to decsribe about the jam at Cheras Sentral.

There is SUKE proposal, but some resident tak suka.

Of all the highways built at Cheras, it did not help in mid-to-long term.
Jam is still there as you have witnessed today.

So, will MRT help? You hve the answer in your mind already.....

KL and PJ is commercial business centre and the federal road is spacious then jln loke yew.
yet there are lrt connected from ldp to federal and to klcc.

if you stay in cheras and the working opportunity is there and yet the public transport not fully covered, you will definitely need buy a car and drive along the way, that where the jam come from.

MRT is definitely can help to ease up the way to kl, but not the way to PJ so far.

In your opinion, MRT will help to ease up the way to KL, for how long?
Less than 5 years? Less than 10 years? Or forever?

Every facility has its own extend. Even PJ go kl also jam now.
However, it will definitely ease up traffic in cheras like 16-17 years back in pj with lrt.
