if the mall is well runned with good established tenants, ur unit is in for a good capital appreciation. Eko Cheras mall is located right in the centre of cheras while Sunway velocity is located at the fringe of cheras nearer to klcc. So thr is some distance away.
Taiko if Ekocheras is like the mall at Johore which managed by ekovest then good luck to u. It is a total disaster. If u considered that as they are experience in managing a mall.
Let's alone not talk about velocity, Sunway team is so strong to even compared with and basically all the chain and retail following them because of proven track record. On other hand there will be ikea and mytown by boustead to drive the traffic to velocity. What make u think people will go to Ekocheras rather than velocity which is it just few kilo away and three or four station away?
If Ekocheras does not has his own uniqueness, will you go velocity or Ekocheras? U tell me.
I am not talking down on the mall. But the fact is pointing favourable of velocity more at this stage based on track record. U better hope ekovest is not talking developer and started to show something to purchaser or investor otherwise u can just sit and wait. More than a year past, yet we see nothing or hear nothing, let's wait for another year and we can talk the same thing again if ekovest not doing anything.
Btw it was cbre they engaged but saville took over them recently and as far as I know, they ain't strong at all at mall retails in Malaysia. Ekovest themselves has too many own agenda to even make a direction or decision for Ekocheras.
By now they should have signed agreement with cinema, star bucks, banks, anchor tenants, mcd, KFC and etc. Should la. But u got any firm confirmation from them? They don't even say confirmed!
