We'll keep poisoning as long your wallet keeps up

Welcome aboard.
The same occasion for me, i loved MG Gundam kits, have about a dozen (9 of them from SEED though) but i stopped them because i dont have the commitment and patience (instead of time). You know, you direct build something, no clear coat at all, no custom mods or paint or decals, and then you feel like a loser when you compare yourself to friends who do all those work and make their gunpla look awesome.
Now i hop onto figure bandwagon it's like no going back, and my hobby of photography matches with this hobby so well. I've been doing professional-grade photography on my figures for a year as my main hobby, and had my figure photos exhibited in other countries' galleries. I like doing this more than building gunpla.
Almost there, almost... Just that something is still not yet right but i cant figure out what it is.

I think it's the way her right arm is placed on her waist, it looks so weird and unnatural, the sculptor's problem. Even the fingers as well - do you spread your fingers out wide apart like that when you put your hand on your waist like that?

I think ppl usually put it on the hip area instead of the upper waist, im struggling to do it myself lol - it's not comfortable. BTW i love this series, so many series to watch this season but im keeping up well.

Haha welcome. I stared with similar background as you too (plamo). Though rather than jumping to figurines, I just added it to the list of stuff I buy

From time to time I still buy plamo. Also buying figma, robot spirit, ships, doll stuff

Hahhaha. I know man. I found it way late as well. Never checked the Hobbies threads. And I tried doing model kits, but these figures are much easier on the eyes. LOL
Can't paint for shiiiiiite.
Haha. Seems most of us was a plamo before. I do love assemble and painting, doing the detail.
Most of my toolkit left at my old house (since 2 of my brothers have the same passion as me, so at lease it's not wasted). Planning to get 1 or 2 kit to build if I got time or not lazy enough, aiming for PG unicorn or Hi Nu & get some few painting kits. This years only just build 1 model kit. With less tool and time, my passion on plamo began to fade away.
I'm admit I'm an Otaku, but didn't comes to nerd level (love to read manga or novel rather than anime & most of genre I will pick is slice of life or mystery theme). Most of my figure I got, I didn't care where the character is came from which series. As long it's really looks great to my eyes and have a good aesthetic on it, I will get it (the 1st figure I bought in 2012 is the one I put as my avatar, until I found out the true story of the series which is......damn... but who cares). I bought 2 of it since want to display both of hairstyle.
Anyway, just making a simple acrylic case to put my collection for. Planning how to decorate my room, maybe buy a shelf and do some customize on it later on and lurking for new figure collection to put as my new collection. Still, I have no idea where I need to put the box.
