Can't believe myself I miss this thread & its already V11. Just found it anyway biggrin.gif

Start collecting just few model figure as my part time hobby, just buying them because its looks great and nice (buying them along with model kit I bought from shop, love to build mecha , ships and zoids before) or just a gift from someone.

Somehow, I gain interested with this hobby, plus I got less time to build model kit for now & I'm just moving to my new house a year ago.

Anyway, nice to met you guys. So keep poisoning.

We'll keep poisoning as long your wallet keeps up  biggrin.gif Welcome aboard.
The same occasion for me, i loved MG Gundam kits, have about a dozen (9 of them from SEED though) but i stopped them because i dont have the commitment and patience (instead of time). You know, you direct build something, no clear coat at all, no custom mods or paint or decals, and then you feel like a loser when you compare yourself to friends who do all those work and make their gunpla look awesome.  sweat.gif

Now i hop onto figure bandwagon it's like no going back, and my hobby of photography matches with this hobby so well. I've been doing professional-grade photography on my figures for a year as my main hobby, and had my figure photos exhibited in other countries' galleries. I like doing this more than building gunpla.
Almost there, almost... Just that something is still not yet right but i cant figure out what it is.  hmm.gif  I think it's the way her right arm is placed on her waist, it looks so weird and unnatural, the sculptor's problem. Even the fingers as well - do you spread your fingers out wide apart like that when you put your hand on your waist like that?  sweat.gif I think ppl usually put it on the hip area instead of the upper waist, im struggling to do it myself lol - it's not comfortable.  BTW i love this series, so many series to watch this season but im keeping up well.

Haha welcome. I stared with similar background as you too (plamo). Though rather than jumping to figurines, I just added it to the list of stuff I buy tongue.gif From time to time I still buy plamo. Also buying figma, robot spirit, ships, doll stuff tongue.gif

Hahhaha. I know man. I found it way late as well. Never checked the Hobbies threads. And I tried doing model kits, but these figures are much easier on the eyes. LOL
Can't paint for shiiiiiite.

Haha. Seems most of us was a plamo before. I do love assemble and painting, doing the detail.
Most of my toolkit left at my old house (since 2 of my brothers have the same passion as me, so at lease it's not wasted). Planning to get 1 or 2 kit to build if I got time or not lazy enough, aiming for PG unicorn or Hi Nu & get some few painting kits. This years only just build 1 model kit. With less tool and time, my passion on plamo began to fade away.

I'm admit I'm an Otaku, but didn't comes to nerd level (love to read manga or novel rather than anime & most of genre I will pick is slice of life or mystery theme). Most of my figure I got, I didn't care where the character is came from which series. As long it's really looks great to my eyes and have a good aesthetic on it, I will get it (the 1st figure I bought in 2012 is the one I put as my avatar, until I found out the true story of the series which is......damn... but who cares). I bought 2 of it since want to display both of hairstyle.

Anyway, just making a simple acrylic case to put my collection for. Planning how to decorate my room, maybe buy a shelf and do some customize on it later on and lurking for new figure collection to put as my new collection. Still, I have no idea where I need to put the box. sweat.gif

Does Ques Q's products hit the bargain bin often?
I might be mistaken but seeing as Ques Q isn't really that big/established a company and she doesn't seem to be that well known, hopefully she'll bargain bin so that I can get her on the cheap.  biggrin.gif

Just got a good news, she will be shipped out tomorrow. What a relief. rclxms.gif

It's been a while since I'm visit this page. Just receive my new figure for my collection (QuesQ 1/8 Mental Model Takao - Arpeggio of Blue Steel).

Quite lovely although it's seems small from the 1/8 scale figure I have (compare with my 1/8 Alter Sora Kasugano). Maybe different company, different scale; I assume?

What does nsfw mean?

NSFW = PG 13 = PG 18 = 18SX

brows.gif

Actually NSFW is an acronym for Not Safe For Watch or No Sensor For Watch

Receive my RAH Saber Lily today. I'm surprise since there was no manual to dissemble her armor in the box. shakehead.gif

Have to take it off carefully without breaking any part (actually her cloth also can be strip off) brows.gif

Overall, she's gorgeous. Not bad for my very 1st doll and my 2nd expensive toy I bought, after RX-78 GP03 Gundam GP03 Dendrobium.

Ah, Metrollll.

As usual, never fail to impress me with their story. While the superstitious or gangster movies are roaming around for view to the kids. Is it bad to our society isn't it? You know what I mean. Heh brows.gif

Hello guys, sorry for long hiatus.

Just confirming is any of you guys facing the new sort kind of "policy" from Poslaju. Lately Poslaju begin to reject the parcel that's too big but weight less than 1kg.

One of my supplier try to deliver my Sakura Saber but end up with this "stupidity" policy and now he try other way to "add" the weight of my parcel.

I said to him just add the rock inside it & problem solve, if they reject it just throw the rock back to them"

whoa... i think they're adopting the uk standard. weight AND dimensions...  sweat.gif

That's a pretty rare scenario i think.
I have not came across occasions where a big parcel is lighter than 1kg before, but i do feel like trolling Poslaju sometimes. If my big box, by volumetric weight, is calculated to be 3.5 kg's price when it's like only 1.5kg, i really will start adding rocks or something else inside until it hits 3.5kg.
*
I don't know about this, I'm often use poslaju, but lately poslaju come with new policy and now their service seem getting worse. Now I'm really worried about my other parcel (pc part) which is now stuck for almost 2 days with no update.

Report to their CS and fb today, seems to be bot reply - quite surprise with the negative review on their service. sad.gif

Receive my parcel today.
Finally my GSC Sakura Saber arrive to my house with 2 "piece of rock" to increase my parcel weigh or just in case if kastam or pos office guy doing something stupid to my parcel- just in case for safety measure. wink.gif

Anyway, she pretty lovely and feel refreshing since she also another version of Saber.
I kinda love the sculpt and the detail put into the figure. My 1st figure from GSC, seems they keep their quality in their figure. Just the base quite plain, wish GSC making something for her base.

Spoiler for more picture of her.

I like it anyway.

Not a fan of Miku, but I like the aesthetic on the figure. Maybe will put in my pre-order list.
Too much stuff to buy this year. cry.gif
