Hi all bosses here, wanna ask a noob question. Super Sonico is cast offable figure or not? I saw some seller price tag very cheap, about RM100+ only but same seller RM400++. I check both are same figure but so big different price. Ixxit possible fake Super Sonico for the cheap one?

QUOTE(ragnarokB2 @ Aug 25 2014, 03:25 PM) The RM100+ one is surely a bootleg-priced compared to the RM400 (quite normal for an ori). hehe....actually wat is bootleg? Can share picture?Even bootleg may be cast-offable depending on the ori design, so check the ori one to know if it can cast off. Not all Sonico can cast off . Bootlegs often have defects either on paintjob or joint parts, so you've been warned |

QUOTE(St0rmFury @ Sep 12 2014, 10:35 AM) You know, there is a funny story for this. I used empty name card boxes but I was also searching high and low for better quality risers and can't find them anywhere. Even when I do (got some at Daiso) they are usually ridiculously priced for some pieces of plastic and I need a lot so it's not feasible. Actually i got a cheaper and nicer way to lift up our pvc figure and it come with wat ever side u request. Normally u guy will display ur figure in ikea detolf or billy bookcase cabinet right? The cabinet is deep enuf but the if all the figure put at same level, those stay behind will block by the figure in front. The only solution is lift up the last row of figure as high as possible, then lift a little bit higher for the second row as long as each row of figure didn't block each other so that we can view all the figure from front. Ans i found this is very effective using tis way. So one day I was in a bakery shop buying some ingredients for my mom and I saw they are selling those plastic tupperwares for cookies/biscuits likes this: Fuiyooh, they come in so many shape and sizes! And so cheap, only a RM1 or 2 for one! I quickly grabbed some and the rest is history. Funny how I found the solution to a common problem for most collectors in the most unlikely of places. This is PVC core, it can cut according to the size you want. If ur figure didn't come with base, u just need to put a hard cardboard on top to sustain ur figure. ![]() This post has been edited by blu3hamm3r: Sep 12 2014, 10:53 AM |

QUOTE(IMBeta305 @ Sep 12 2014, 10:59 AM) you using this personally? If so picts please, Transparent will look nicer but the kuih raya containers height is fix, it not as flexible as the plastic core. I try find n see got other transparent stuff can replace the plastic core or not. I prefer the risers to be transparent therefor kuih raya containers. |
