You know, there is a funny story for this. I used empty name card boxes but I was also searching high and low for better quality risers and can't find them anywhere. Even when I do (got some at Daiso) they are usually ridiculously priced for some pieces of plastic and I need a lot so it's not feasible.

So one day I was in a bakery shop buying some ingredients for my mom and I saw they are selling those plastic tupperwares for cookies/biscuits likes this:



Fuiyooh, they come in so many shape and sizes! And so cheap, only a RM1 or 2 for one! I quickly grabbed some and the rest is history. Funny how I found the solution to a common problem for most collectors in the most unlikely of places.

Yea, I also prefer transparent risers. And height is not really an issue for me. I just use them like Lego blocks and stack them according to how high I want them to be. Then tape it up to secure it.
