copy and paste all over....do layers, some clear some blur...

do a set pattern, let it repeats by itself ( make sure the repeats results are like that matrix , some near some far ).
Then the pattern cover a larger box area. Have that box area in transparent background, and have a few more layers over each other.
Certain layers, set their transparencies level differently, to create the depthness....

thats what i think la.... maybe some sifu can find an easier way...

for me, usually i take the easier way out...
look for ready background, and just cut and paste repeatedly...

hmm.. actually its not that tedious at all...
layered things is actually much easier.
