QUOTE(General_Nic @ Aug 8 2014, 12:06 AM) it's weird though, that Bandai didn't reserve December slot for Hi-Nu Ver Ka unless more badass Ver Ka coming soon? Perhaps Sazabi would follow the path of Nu, a titanium release in December (one year after normal release). This post has been edited by :3mushy:3: Aug 8 2014, 06:51 AM

QUOTE(carpathia @ Aug 8 2014, 03:11 PM) hmn....cant really tell from the pics....still looks like regular to me except the shoulder pads red looks nicer than regular The paint is not solid, it is glossy. Which means it reflects light better. Just google gloss-coated gunpla and compare it to the popular flat-coated gunpla (the same kit) for comparison.

QUOTE(Godevil @ Aug 8 2014, 06:30 PM) I dun understand. I try to apply the plastic gloss by apply top coat. but people are buying into limited edition for extra glossy plastic Err people are buying mainly for the Trans Am color, on top of being an RG which is known for the realistic (duh!) and accurate colors, modelers don't have to paint by themselves.

1) Prime > White
Or, cheaper way (since primer is more expensive than regular paint), silver > white.

Err it's the same, you need to paint it and seal it with UV resistant top coat. You can use Mr. Super Clear UV or various more brands, can be found in Ace Hardware.

QUOTE(reehdus @ Aug 9 2014, 11:23 AM) In Penang, the answer is pretty much the same. Prime and paint . Or if you don't mind you can maybe sand off the surface and eveal the white underneath. Which is way more troublesome than a few layers of white paint

To what extend do you consider as 'play'? Model kits have, and will always be for display purposes.

QUOTE(jason_tan1980 @ Aug 10 2014, 06:25 PM) Means is durable for not just only display, but for changing posing. for my impression, gunpla is always quite fragile and not durable for frequent change of posing and articulation, the joint will get loosen once you played too long. it is light and only for display. I look for metal build is because I heard of its stability, weight and durability of the joint and articulation. Practically the same, but to me that is still what you normally do with model kits, posing them. By 'playing', it's more like what kids would do, drop them, hit them, throw them to the air like etc . If you build the gunpla, by right you should know where the possible high stress joints were, and should be careful when moving that particular joint. Case in point, Sinanju(/Stein) waist to torso joint.

QUOTE(Hellscream @ Aug 10 2014, 08:37 PM) This sound boring. Gunpla is very fragile but still playable. Of course with very gently way.. Yeah, especially with newer kits, the MGs are definitely cool to 'play' with. The moving pistons, the exposed actuators, sliding armors etc

QUOTE(winstonst @ Aug 11 2014, 04:20 PM) i am new to gundam do u guys have any tips for me to get start? thanks I suggest to get an MG over HG. For an adult you should have no problem to comprehend the assembly. Get a good yet reasonably priced MG like Jesta.

QUOTE(carpathia @ Aug 11 2014, 11:50 PM) I'm sure everyone is saving up money for the sept warehouse sales? Not really. Sure, they will reduce the price for certain MG and make them really good bargains (like the Titus and Jesta), but other than that nothing impressive. Yeah they will bring out some of the limited items once in a while

QUOTE(jason_tan1980 @ Aug 12 2014, 10:09 AM) Previously I was thinking to get a MG 7 sword, but after I went there, look at the actual product (finished build), I hold back my action. I can't accept the look of figure that looks plastic and not solid...(sorry if this statement makes you guys irritated...) It is the blue color. Paint it with darker blue and see the results

QUOTE(winstonst @ Aug 12 2014, 04:52 PM) thanks mate anw wat is the different between MG and HG? Click Here. QUOTE(skeithskeith @ Aug 12 2014, 08:02 PM) GUYS I NEED HELP!! This is the second Gunpla I built with my wife, everything was going smooth until I top coat it. What did i do wrong? Did I spray too much or is it because I sprayed on rainy day? Or because of distance? I used Tamiya Matte Clear Spray, TS-80. I need help to remedy this. Please help! any sifu? Please Help! Look at the bright side, all you need is a snowy background, some rocks and talc powder to make a winter diorama! You can use high % of IP alcohol. Or RM 3 nail polish remover should work like a charm. Use Q tips to gent but firmly rub on surfaces with decal applied, and just use cloth on surfaces without decal applied.
