My 17 years old cousin cannot even imagine how to assemble these "insanely" (according to him) sophisticated Gunpla. He asked, what if you cannot figure out how to do it? What if you did it wrong?

With all due respect, I really think kids this gen are playing a little too much of video games. A little handcraft and skills will be healthy for them.

I know I will share the love of Gunpla with my kids in the future. I am going to start with SD Hi Nu Gundam.

Doesn't really jump onto hi-nu ship, I prefer the much sleeker looks of Nu.

As much as the cool factor, I don't like kits with too heavy backpack or accessories. It's just like FA unicorn.

The paint is not solid, it is glossy. Which means it reflects light better. Just google gloss-coated gunpla and compare it to the popular flat-coated gunpla (the same kit) for comparison.

There is no discernible difference between the 2. The OVA ver was release to fix the knee bend flaws of the original ver ka, the rest r just minor aesthetics. FAU already includes the knee fix so there is no reason to have another version of FAU, besides if u wan OVA version well just remove the javalin and woila. Unless of course u r very particular about anime accuracy and the missing tiny vulcan drives u nuts.
Correction: FAU ver ka already includes the knee bend fix. Its missing the head vulcan and fix open/close horn v fin.

How is the build quality of metal build compare to MG?
is the articulation and joint as strong as Metal build? durable for play, or jz for display only?

Waiting for red frame to release in metal build, I like it's PG version damn much, but not dare to build it.

if you said u played with hottoys before(money is not a problem),
why don't you buy an MG and commissioned it to pro modeler...

metal build is not for everyone...
it's a one time production (correct me if i'm wrong, not too sure bout it)

they also introduce formania for collectors, but then, it's just a bust display only... highly details...

Non scale pretty much bugs people because it doesnt match anywhere.. so lets say theres no decent HG deathscythe hell.. and RD comes out with one, hooray?
Nope.. he wont fit into your wing shelf because he's non scale, not 1/144, so to make him fit in u need to buy all the other RD wing figures so they look proportionate

Guys i recently bought a gundam red astray MG and its awesome
I like the swords /weapon/design evrything bout it except for the front design box, didnt know it was red astray until i saw the sword and side of the box

Im not a big fan but i like building it and the design
Can recommend me any other gundam that as good as this like weapon/cape/sword
