when i saw someone selling the RX-78 Mechanical clear ver, aft I saw the price, I tot what the fxxk, so expensive!!
that's 4 the granddaddy, for Nu shld b even more expensive no?
I don't have any clear ver b4, might wanna test drive one thumbup.gif
but my backlogs  doh.gif
Also will appreciate if someone can share photos and thoughts about them mechanical clear ver kits.
(is there actually a difference between clear colored kits and mechanical clear kits?)
*
if its the 3.0 version the it is expensive because I think it was sold in a rare event compared to the gunpla expo hence the price
but for NU it might be the same case as blitz, if u're lucky u'll be able to get one with a decent price from any bandai's event or even litt tak like some of our forumers here during last year's gunpla expo laugh.gif

PG unicorn seems like a PG-fied version of the MG with the addition of the LED if this is the 3D render of the final product hmm.gif

This is just a custom?
Or it did appear in any manga / noval?
*
I think pro-shop exclusives are usually their own custom design like the built akatsuki released last year so no actual appearance in any series hmm.gif

Hey guys, i am new to building gundam model kits.

I've recently bought a bunch of stuff from this website, gundam.my.
They provide excellent services but i checked hobbylink japan and found out that their(gundam.my) price is overpriced.

May i know where do you guys get your model kits?

Is buying online cheaper? or do i get it from a store instead?

I live in penang island, anyone can enlighten me where to get gundam model kits? =D
*
browse the trade zone, got a lot of sellers with good price.
but if you prefer direct from store, I recommend gwing. They just open a new store in prangin mall i think
not sure whether or not they still sell gunpla because I usually PO figures from them rather than gunpla whistling.gif

@HxiiiK,

Thank you so much!
The price is not as expensive as in gundam.my. The difference is roughly +/- RM5 since i am just getting 1/144 model kits but the shipping is free!

And it's so close to my house LOL!

@D-y,
Trade zone? @.@ All i found in google was engineering supplies @.@....

Same case as ARF, the PG is bulkier than the sleek-looking MG. But in the end we all love it laugh.gif

You have not included the shipping charges to Malaysia. Although you would normally still get cheaper price (5-10%) than buying from local retailers, but in the end it roughly amounts up to the same price. Note that this does not apply for P-Bandai exclusives, buying from overseas retailers (Amiami, GGI, HLJ etc) in bulk is definitely cheaper. whistling.gif
*
ARF wins because of its intricate details and pose flexibility. as for unicorn, it just doesn't look as detail as previous PG and I doubt it is posable due to the transformation. laugh.gif
I do hope there are improvements when the final product comes out

Hey guys! I need a little help here.

I am planning to get 13 gundam kits at one go. All 1/144.

I was thinking of getting it all from Japan HobbyLink because it's cheaper if i get all at once.

But the problem is I've been reading so many reviews on JHL that's not so good. Has anyone dealt with JHL recently? Are they good?

Or should i get it from a local store?
*
I think if you're buying them in a bundle its better for you to buy online since local stores sometimes may not have in stock the kits you're looking for.
in terms of shipping it is definitely cheaper when you buy in bulk but do try to get them delivered in separate quantity because you might get tax if they came in the same shipping whistling.gif
I think most of our forummers here had good experienced dealing with hlj from what I've seen. If I'm not mistaken their packaging is great
