I don't have RG 01 and 02, but i do have the new RG Exia, which is much more solid and easy to pose.

Nothing is worse than 01 02

got time buy RG 01 , 02 and 04 go play play

others RG colour separation is bad

once you experience RG 01 and 02, you will know what is true hell.

i dont find any problem with rg 01 ..

My guess is that you can use red led for red psycho frame or use yellow led to get green psycho frame. The frame is clear/white. Maybe can change colour using switch.

I see that you modded the shoulder part. Nice.

I think it'd might be better if the action base connector attached at the backpack like the justice. Easier to pose.

It's not modded. You can slide it open. You can even open the red hatch

My guess the 3rd form is crystallized form in episode 07.
1st form = standard red psycho frame
2nd form = green psycho frame
3rd form = crystallized psycho frame

Adding/attach the crystallized effect part around the exposed psycho-frame would be possible

imo, RG SF is good RG but since it is a CE/Seed RG, it must have a huge backpack so comparing it to units like Granddad, zaku or Exia, it will really feel/look inferior since they are units without backpack and are more balanced (can do dynamic land pose)

All the MS you mentioned were prominently shown having ground battle, but SF had never had ground battle, that's why action base is a must

dun think RG got any problem...i own all seed RGs...even had a perfect strike gundam with all it pack on...

i think only justice hv prob on my side..left hand kinda loose
