just wondering, in gunpla community do people actually care about this kind of rare items? considering there's so many scratchbuilders out there hmm.gif
a bit curious because u'll rarely see rare gunpla scalped like crazy. Doesn't seem much profitable compared to other kind of toys unsure.gif

Yes, its my own opinion. Maybe I'm just thinking to much....
To quoted a line from the Lego movie, 'it is recommended for aged 14 and above, they need to put it there'.

"it was a sophisticated interlocking brick system",

How is the build quality of metal build compare to MG?
is the articulation and joint as strong as Metal build? durable for play, or jz for display only?
*
it's an action figure bro..
no assembly needed

Hey Bro, thanks for your detailed analysis and information, I truly appreciate that.

Ya, I agree with you that none of the figure is durable and playable, but I just looking for gundam figure that at least the joint is not so fragile, and can hold some weight.
Besides, for me as a no experienced collector who doesn't know how to assemble a PG gundam, metal build probably should be my only choise to keep some gundam in my collection.

or maybe MSIA (mobile suit in action) as an option for you
or Robot Damashi series...
smaller in scale, but pose-able.

Bro, used to big scale already...I've already long time used to the size of 1/6 by hot toys.  wink.gif

MG is the minimum size i can accept for a collectible figure... cry.gif
*
well then, Gundam is a bit more focused on model kits,
sorry for you.. huhu

Previously I was thinking to get a MG 7 sword, but after I went there, look at the actual product (finished build), I hold back my action.
I can't accept the look of figure that looks plastic and not solid...(sorry if this statement makes you guys irritated...)
*
if you said u played with hottoys before(money is not a problem),
why don't you buy an MG and commissioned it to pro modeler...

Haha, bro, don't mis-understand me, money sure is a concern, not every Hot Toys collector are rich ~  blush.gif
So far I only have 4 HT in my collection, all are iron man series.

Honestly saying, HT is a wallet burner!!! icon_question.gif

their recent diecast series does makes a new standard of articulated figure.
So what I mean here is whether Metal Build standard would be similar to HT Diecast series~

btw, repaint it to make a plastic outlook looks like metal, sometimes does makes me feel a little bit of unreal~ because when you touch it and hold it, it feels like...oh...so light~
*
lol

as i said earlier, gundam series focused more towards model kit....
and nowadays, bandai use different material to make it lighter n paint friendly....

Wow!!! Gorgeous!!! rclxms.gif

I think Bandai also moving to open another product line for those collector who likes gundam but dunno how to build and paint it.
So it comes out metal build~
*
metal build is not for everyone...
it's a one time production (correct me if i'm wrong, not too sure bout it)

they also introduce formania for collectors, but then, it's just a bust display only... highly details...
