Just playing with it for 10 minutes and i'm using Nexus 5 with kitkat 4.4.4 and mikey app version 1.6.0. My 1st attempt to connect it, got disturb by poweramp, so you should disable any auto detect earphones music player.

I only use 2 actions, lockscreen and flashlight.

1. Lockscreen, i can wakeup my phone, but i can't lock back using the key. So i'll just use double tap status bar to lock my phone.

2. Flashlight is working perfectly, i can even use it when the phone is locked.

I can confirm it's working with Nexus 5.
