I have been having heavy stress from my work and everytime I think about it makes me lose interest to do anything fun. There are many times, crossing roads I feel like "It would be good if a car can hit me and I become permanently disabled or even die".

I am already having over-stressed colon movement problems according to my GP.

Is this a sign of depression?

+1

Imagine that, you die, max company will send a condolences flower or maybe some donation plus your company group insurance payout to your family. Then, the next day, put up recruitment advertisement to replace you.

But, how about family after you gone? They do not have any replacement.

You want to give up your life just because of some job? Please think again! No job is worth giving up your life for.

Quit if it's too stressful and get a new job. Working environment is very important. If not happy just leave, after all it's only a job.

Feeling suicidal due to job stress is the easiest to solve.

You know the source. Eliminate that source.

So, quit the job.

Been there.
But not because of stress.
More like about life is difficult etc.

Religion might help for some; works for me.

Maybe others here can suggest otherwise.

Good luck.

The lyrics are meaningful.

Yes, not solely because of work stress. I've been in this kind of situation before. It's more related with the life eg: family, friends, money, work, relationship.

When everything mixed up, it going to have this kind of thinking.

Religion helps? Yes, I do meditate and listen to those Buddhist song.

Somehow, TS you need to take a break, relax yourself. Talk to your friends or someone you trust. See things widely. Eventually, everything will be alright. thumbup.gif

While considering to change your job as others have advised, there
are quite a few supplements which can help. You can order them from Iherb.

Saint John's Wort
Magnesium threonate
Rhodiola
Fish oil
B6
S-adenosylmethionine (SAM or SAMe)

Hypnosis is one avenue which you should go for.

EFT (emotional freedom technique) is also becoming popular worldwide.

There are a few qualfied ones you could try. Note that these are not pychiatrists
