TNL's getting the US version, im not sure which version you guys are getting. Andy reported that the Fedex guy came in with boxes of shipment, there might be more stuff other than Dead Dising.
My guess would be that the price would be hovering around RM260 for Dead Rising US. Going there now to reserve my copy.

My copy in hand now. Collectively Andy and CONnie only have 4 copies. 1 for me, and 1 copy for a guy from Johor (who specifically ask his bro to come all the way from Johor to get it ) , dunno abt the conning byatch across the shop, who should have only 2 copies. One Utama have a big fat ZERO copies. BTW, they are also preordering more DR stocks after they misjudged the demand this 1st batch. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Aug 11 2006, 03:11 PM

Does everybody's DR comes with this warning? Be back later for the game, at the movies again with friends.

Just got my first death in DR. Trying to cut across to the other mall entrance, and got smothered by the zombie army. Managed to mow them up a bit with the lawnmower, but the feistier ones with the knife got me finally. Im glad Capcom decides to take a more serious undertones with this rather than the campier atmosphere with the Resident Evil series, although RE4 has returned the series back to a more serious note. Anyone thinks West looks a little like Max Payne, minus the constipated facial expression?

LOL, yeah those 3 convicts must....DIE!!!!! I was trying in vain to board the Jeep so that i could deal the same punishment to them and the zombies, but got splattered before i managed to reach the Plaza entrance.
Everyone also notice the language on this game? Certainly not suitable for below 18s.

Nope still running good here. Im still trying t get used to the Scoop events thing, and which should be done fist. It's a bit disconcerting that the game presses you for time, while the zombies pour in relentlessly. Is it normal to die multiple time in this game, or do i plainly suck? Pressing Back does brings up the Map when you desperately need to find restrooms to save, but it does not pause the game. Same hing with bring up your watch. Also the inventory doesnt allow for foodstuff to be carried much,......let me rephrase that, i'd rather carry sledgehammers or chainsaws in my inventory than a couple of apples and orange juice, but every time i bludgeon them zombies to death, i worry when the next blow gonna break the weapons.

Orange juice, got it! Got a couple lying around in the Security room in fact. I was in the North Plaza, in the Home Saloon to be precise. One word: Excavator! Muahahahahahaha, that will satisfy the zombie flesh-flaying craving in you. The close-up view of the carnage you inflict is never so satisfying to. Unfortunately, i died there again, was too busy inflicting damage on those mindless fools.

Pupu, i think we've met. It is just that we didnt really introduced each other as forum members. I dont think it's an LE, Pupu. The sticker was platered outside , on the plastic wrappings, and no special collectibles that comes with it. The sticker, i think, was a reminder no how underaged kids shouldnt be playing the game. The contents are pretty graphic. Died again, for the 4th time, and it seems like every time it is close to death , a restroom or a sofa isnt close enough. The carnage and variety of execution kept me coming back though, so it's good. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Aug 12 2006, 03:18 PM

Censored? Wow, that's a first. All this while, them Japs are even more open-minded that Americans in terms on their video game content, and lucky Asians got theirs based on the Japanese content, which is uncensored. It's the other way round now?

Asian versions are more often taken from their Japanese cousins, translated into English. Lazier developers sometimes leave the game in Japanese, and include only a flimsy 2-sheet instruction manual quick guide in English and let the user figure out everything else.

They have something against hurting somebody? AS in Japanese games arent violent or freaky enough? Or their movie industry for example, with BAttle Royale and such? I find it perplexing that they could accept those kind of violence but not computer-generated violence in videogames. Them Japs are weird!

Spot ON! Like i said, them Japs are weird, they abhor outright violence yet they worship artful slicing and dicing of human flesh . They are introverted and shy looking yet they solicit weird sexual acts like Bukkake and Tentacle-sex. We're going off tangent here, but this would be the first time them Japanese get the short end of the stick for their censored DR.
