I've been playing the demo and absolutely love it. Is there no sign of an Asian release at all?

Just got this today.
 The rescue cases are pretty dull... they're just optional right? Did everyone complete it on their first playthrough? I kept dying at the same place (stupid clown) and so I decided to save my game and start from the beginning. |

I'm stuck on the second Carlito thing too. Where are all the guns hidden anyway? Carlito with his long range gun just keeps shooting me or Brad dead.
 I was thinking of just letting Brad die and then just continuing the game to explore and level up and then start again. |

Thanks! I like how the weapons respawn, so you can always get back to get a gun when you need it.
Unfortunately I ran out of time on the supermarket boss, and there's not enough time to feasibly do it from my last save, so my game has ended. I'm just plowing through the rescue missions for fun now. |

God, those 3 guys in a jeep really piss me off. Why do they shoot you? Why don't they shoot the zombies instead.

I just finished this for the first time. Got Ending B. Messed up the game pretty early on, but decided to just slaughter zombies and rescue people to level up.
Now I'm going to restart with Level 19. Should be slightly easier now.. |

I seem to remember reading that the head decapitations/headshots in Resident Evil 4 were removed from the Japanese version.
There's a head decapitation about every 5 seconds in Dead Rising  So I guess they're all being replaced with some non-head related gore. This post has been edited by coriandery: Aug 29 2006, 12:57 AM |

I've finished the game now. I thought the ending to the 72 hour mode was brilliant. Conversely, I thought Overtime mode was a pointless addendum to the game.

Has anyone else noticed the opening movie with the mother and daughter that plays if you leave the title screen for a while?
Went downstairs to get a drink, came back up, it was playing. Nice little easter egg there. |
